Safe Refuge During the Coming Police State

You may call this an opinion piece because I have no "solid evidence" to support the following":

As of today, Dec 6, 2011, my sources are telling me,

1. If you value your freedom and liberty, the United States is no longer the place to be. It will take another couple of years, but if you don't want to live in a police state, you had best begin plans to move out-country, preferably no later than summer 2012. see 3 and 4 below.

2. Both Newt and Romney are fully co-opted; to a lesser degree, so are most of the other GOP candidates. The only candidate who - so far - won't conform to the agenda is Ron Paul. But my sources have no data on Bachman, Huntsman or Santorum - too far out of the pack for the elite to pay any attention to yet. My sources are saying that whether Newt or Mitt is elected, they will both play the game and conform to the agenda laid out for them - essentially, nothing will change, although surface changes may occur to placate the "unruly."

3. Obviously, Obama is fully "in-camp." The only way to prevent a socialist-fascist-police state is for a non-co-opted candidate to win in November AND for both houses of Congress to elect a GOP majority.

4. My sources state they see no "human" solution to this mess. The only solution is to follow God's lead and do whatever He tells you to do. Just be sure it's God leading you.

5. Safe Refuge: the number of "safe refuges" in and outside of the United States has been reduced to the following. Although no place will truly be safe, these will all be better than the US. Two of these may come as a surprise. Seminole Res in Florida, Hopi Res in Arizona, Baja California Sur in Mexico, Aborigine lands in Australia, desert areas in Jordan, Israel, deep Sahara, Hong Kong, China (!?). Altho, if you're a Christian, you won't be able to practice your belief in Jordan or China, the situation in the US is planned to become so dire that all of these places will be far better and safer. The safest areas will be where no one else is, no one knows you're there and no one can find you.

6. If you choose to remain within the US, expect the following within a few years (with ANY human solution): midnight to dawn curfew, police or troops patrolling the streets, you won't be able to move money or take cash out of the country, food shortages, possible temporary spot electrical outages or brownouts, gasoline shortages, scattered rolling checkpoints on roads and highways across the US with other more stringent measures probable at a later time.

Caveat: Usually I tend to extremes, all of the above represents one extreme. The other extreme is that everything turns out exactly as we hope, the fed gov shrinks and begins turning a surplus. We pay down our debt, the troops come home because there are no more wars to fight, gas prices keep decreasing, the fed stops printing money, the dollar gains strength worldwide, the US returns to Constitutional principles, the TSA adopts a pragmatic method of airport screening without violating the Constitution, the FDA stops raiding homes and farms for "illegal" food or food supplies, cheap renewable energy sources are released, the economy recovers and millions of jobs are created, foreclosures stop and everyone pays off all their debts, people switch from a debt economy to a credit economy, regulations restricting private enterprise and restricting the free market are dropped, - anyone have anything else?

What usually happens is often in the middle of the two extremes. In this case, the middle would seem to be that nothing changes. Or, that only slight, primarily "cosmetic" changes occur.

I know I will face derision and ridicule from this post, but I feel it is necessary to post this to help - maybe that one person who may heed this advice - people who will listen. Sometimes people listen to what I say, sometimes not: for example:

Iraq War - prior to the invasion, I was vigorously opposed to any war because 1. the war would drag on for years and not take just a few weeks or months as we were being told, 2. "we would not find any wmd" - specific quote I made, 3. the cost of the war would be "at least 400 to 600 billion dollars" not 40 to 60 as I believe was being projected, 4. thousands of American lives would be lost not hundreds, 5. the invasion would trigger the activation of groups around the world to begin openly fomenting against the US and some of these groups - within and without Iraq - would take action destroying innocent lives, 6. nothing much would change regardless of what happened - the US would not be safer, the world would not be safer, Iraq Might be a tad bit safer, but there would be no clear cut increase in safety for American citizens, if anything, things might get a little worse - in my opinion they have - huge deficits, millions out of work, rapid decline in dollar, security not substantially increased, loss of freedom & liberty in the US.

2005 - In 2005 I began telling people about the real estate bubble and how it would burst within a year or two. I figured people had 1 year to get out and divest their real estate assets - and I advised them to put their returns in cash and ride out the consequences. Then be ready to jump back in and snap up property at bargain basement values. I began advising to Slowly get back in the market as of June of this year - keep 50% in cash and estimate a property may lose up to 30% current revenue. If it is still paying a profit, buy it - or flip it.

The Solution That Will Save Our Nation

It seems obvious to me that we as a nation, and we as a people, do not have the answers to the questions that divide us; we cannot even agree on the questions. It seems obvious to me that neither the Occupy Wall Street demonstrators, nor the Democrats, nor the Republicans, nor the Tea Party, nor the independents, nor Obama, nor Newt, nor Ron Paul, nor Romney have the solutions that are best for this nation.

Further, it seems obvious to me that although we all agree that the path we are on is the wrong path for this nation to travel, none of us can agree on what the right path is.

Therefore, I think we should forget about politics and about all the problems this nation has. We are not going to agree on the answers, we are not even going to agree on the questions.

No one knows who the best candidate is, but God knows. No one knows what the best solutions are for our nation, but God knows. No one knows how to heal the polarization between the parties or in Congress or how to unite us when so much seems to divide us. I don't have the answers to these questions nor does anyone, but God does.

We need to place all our concerns, questions and worries at the feet of God. Then we need to get down on our knees and pray. God has promised that if we are sincere and earnest and bring our concerns to him, he will meet us halfway and provide the answers to our prayers, the solutions to our questions and relief from our worries. He will dry our tears, remove our fear and bring us through safely to a new, brighter, better day.

We need to stop the bickering and ask God to show us the candidate who will be best for our nation.

We need to stop arguing amongst ourselves and ask God to show us what solutions are best for our country.

We need to stop blaming each other and ask God to show us what each of us must do personally to help God bring each of us and this nation back to Him.

Finally, we need to stop in our haste and the busyness of our every day lives and enjoy the life that God has ordained for us. We need to stop wondering what to do and ask God to show us what must be done to restore those things that made this nation great and made us a light to all nations.

We don't know the answers, we don't know the solutions, but God does, and He will show us what they are, if we but honestly, humbly and sincerely ask.

Building Wealth, Making Money

Beginning with industrialization, governments sought to expand their economies by replacing the long-term and slow growth modality of capital creation with the faster and more expedient means of debt creation. But as economies expanded, debt ballooned. Over time, as a nation's market expanded at a fairly steady pace (with the occasional downturn and setback), ensuring a commensurate increase in incomes, apparent wealth and living standards, the total debt increased at an exponential rate exceeding by many magnitudes the growth rate of the economy. As a result, at any major downturn and national or regional setback, nations businesses and individuals are left foundering in a sea of debt.

There can be no "fix" to an economy based on debt nor for a business' or individual's debt load unless the "fix" originates from the capital creation side of economic philosophy. However, as capital creation is slow and uneven this solution is unpalatable to nations and peoples accustomed to quick repairs, fast connections and instant gratification. To be told that a solution to debt can be guaranteed, but only after 10 or 20 years of hard work, with very little to show for the first half of that period, people and nations may opt for the more expedient solution of expanding their debt. Although this solution seems to solve the immediate debt, the existing debt doesn't go away, it is merely subsumed within the new debt. This seems to solve the immediate debt situation but in fact only moves the problem to a future date.

There is no solution to a debt crisis using the current model of debt creation. Under this model, current debt never goes away, it is only added to future debt. The only solution to a crisis of debt is debt that provides periodic income in excess of the periodic payments necessary to acquire that debt. Debt based on this new model is based on tangible assets, i.e. hard, fixed assets which cannot be easily dismantled or destroyed.

There are only four asset classes of production. These four classes are land (or real estate), labor, capital (cash), and intellectual property. In the modern era, each of these asset classes bears varying degrees of mortality risk based on the further distinction (subcategory) of that asset category, its location on the planet, competition and the market from which its revenues are derived. No place is absolutely safe; fires, earthquakes floods and storms can destroy a factory, warehouse or subdivision just as surely as war, a terrorist attack, competition or market decline.

Investment in debt is never a safe option. Debt is a soft asset, an intangible or paper asset which can lose value or be destroyed as easily as it was created. Whether the soft asset is student loans, mortgages, commodities, foreign exchange or highly leveraged derivatives, there is no assurance that any investment made today will be secure tomorrow. The characteristic of a soft asset which makes it easy to generate high returns over short periods of time is leverage. However, this leverage of return also leverages the degree of risk. The farther removed an asset is from a hard asset to a soft asset, the more inherent the risk built into the structure of that asset. Although this risk also leverages the potential rate of return, the increase in the return is simply not worth the increased risk as the current real estate crisis, worldwide currency crises, the slow decline of the dollar and international governmental debt crises all attest.

Income generating assets exist in a variety of forms and their return can exceed that of the more familiar debt model based asset vehicles. One of the most popular forms is stock ownership. Although this seems a contradiction in the capital creation concept, it is in fact a core concept; buy assets, not debt, buy ownership, not a promise. With stock, you are buying a piece of the company; when buying a student loan package, you are buying a promise.

Equity in a commercial enterprise is perhaps the easiest, least expensive and lowest risk means of initiating a capital creation strategy. To assure the proper perspective on equity purchases, an investor must view the asset for the periodic income it generates, not the projected cash-in value of the asset at some indeterminate time in the future. Each investor must view the asset as one that they will hold forever and then pass onto their heirs because of the income it generates (and additionally the value it adds to their estate). No investor should view such an asset as one they plan to sell in 10, 20, 30 or 40 years.

Indivduals, businesses and governments must all adopt the long view. This long view rests on a foundation of capital creation. Capital creation is the acquisition of assets which produce periodic, current income in excess of the payments required to purchase that asset.

America's Long Descent Into Night

The powers that be already control all the money in the world, they already control most of the natural resources and they already control most of the biggest corporations. The only thing they don't control is you.

Since the greed and lust of the powers that be requires them to control Everything, they must find a way to control you. They have already accomplished this to a large degree. The powers that be already control your money, your job and the way you view the economy. They have already made you dependent upon an educational system that trains people to become even more dependent upon the big corporations and the government. There is only one more thing to do to make you absolutely and completely dependent; there is only one more thing they must do to make you completely and totally a slave; they must make you completely subservient to them by stripping away your freedom and rights. The way they do this is through fear.

If this assessment is accurate, the powers that be will continue to chip away at our liberty by perpetuating our fear. They will degrade our liberty by continuously introducing new threats and new ways of combating those threats. Or they will introduce new methods of combating existing threats. These measures will all be introduced in the name of public safety, for national security, for the stability of the dollar or the economy or the stock market or to provide domestic peace or international stability. The authorities will say that these measures are necessary for peace and safety or to protect the people from danger. And the vast majority of Americans will accept these measures and the loss of their liberty, perhaps reluctantly, more likely willingly, but we will accept the loss of our liberty to protect ourselves from the evil the exists in the world, never realizing that the evil that exists in the world is the same blanket we cover ourselves with at night.

Our next President will be the person who conforms to the agenda of the powers that be, whether that be public or private, while garnering the greatest degree of public support. His or her public stance will most likely be that which expresses some degree of giving the government more control while, in other areas, proposing less. Once in office, the current trend will continue, regardless of who is in office or whether the next President is Republican or Democrat. The only way to stem this flow is for the people to elect the individual who advocates most strongly for the most limited size and role of government as possible.

The way of the future seems most certain and the following scenario most likely. A group of people small in number at first, but growing over time, will refuse to adhere to the fear-mongering fairy tales that beset us at every turn. They will grow fearless. Growing fearless, they will become less dependent. Becoming less dependent they will become more independent in terms of happiness, wealth and power. By not adhering to the common convention of fear and by demonstrating the power and wealth that slowly accrues to those who do not fear the scare stories, who do not fear responsibility and who do not fear liberty, more and more people will join them and become like them and the powers that be will see their power slipping away. Then, they will overreact.

At some critical point, when their own fear of loss of control has reached forced them to act, they will do so. The powers that be will unleash the most destructive and fearful acts they can imagine. The powers that be will unleash war, they may destroy nations - perhaps even the most powerful of nations - and they may even unleash nuclear holocaust. During this dark, dark period, many of those who had learned not to fear will learn fear once again. Many of those who had left the path of fear will turn back. The majority of the people who had escaped the control of the powers that be will slip back under their control. But a remnant of the truly free will escape. A small number of those who are truly without fear will remain without fear, they will not give in, they will not give up. They will remain free and independent. Though the powers that be may hunt them down from place to place, from state to state and from nation to nation, those who follow the Way will not fear and remain free. Eventually, the world will die. This may occur in a few years or may require several decades, but eventually the horrors released by the powers that be will consume all of the world that was. The way of life, the culture, the hedonism and materialism, the structures and institutions of the world that was will be no more. The powers that be will be gone along with all those who followed them and did not stand up for their rights but succumbed to their own fears.

Following the world of darkness will be a world of light. The small remnant of the free - the followers of the Way - will inherit a brave new world, a world brighter, bigger and better than the old. The old will make way for the new and the old will pass away. That which once was will be no more and true peace, love and harmony will reign in a world of love and light. This is the world that those who escaped the powers that be will inherit for it is written; "the meek shall inherit the earth."

Space Exploration, NASA, the USA & the Mission to Mars

I jumped into a recent conversation online which took the position that money invested into NASA and space exploration was a waste and could be better spent elsewhere at this time. My reply:

"The return on investment from NASA and space exploration has rivaled or exceeded that of many private investment vehicles. But this is because the gov was wise enough to allow the contractors to use the discoveries extracted from space research as they saw fit. I grew up when all of America hovered around a grainy black and white picture a few inches across to watch Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin walk on the moon. It was a very exciting time. The greatness and nobility of America is when we seek the dream - and then pull together to do it. The power of America lies in the ambition of our ideals, not in the fears of our hearts. The strength of America is when we dare the impossible and then do what it takes to get it done, not in worrying about the minutiae of roi or cash flow. The strength of the American people is the imagination to dream big and then stand on the moon. Mars is next. And we should do it.

America should put a crew on Mars because - as John Kennedy said, "not because it will be easy, but because it will be hard," we should put a crew on Mars not because it is something China would do, but because it is something America would do. America should put a crew on Mars not for any anticipated returns, but for the achievement of an ideal; America should put a crew on Mars not because it is what any nation would do, but because it is something that only a great nation can do, and America is a great nation. When we plant that American flag on the red sands of Mars, we do it not to prove to our enemies that we are a powerful nation that must be feared; we do it not to show to our friends and allies that we are a great nation, nor do we plant a flag on Mars to expand our territory or defend our status, no, we plant the red, white and blue on a far distant planet to prove that impossible dreams are possible to a people that dream big."

America, Down and Out?

Millions are out of work; the real unemployment rate stands at somewhat above 16%. Thousands of demonstrators occupy city streets and parks while unions throw in their support for the demonstrators. Congress is paralyzed into immobility while the people seem confused, divided and rooted in chaos. America is facing dark days; our economy teeters on the edge of a cliff and foreclosures continue forcing American families into the streets and shelters and to live with relatives and friends. Things could be better.

The cafe is better when it is full of happy customers instead of being cold and dark.

The store next door is better when the cash registers are ringing up sales instead of having a sign on a boarded up window that says "Out of Business."

The downtown company is better when it has chairs full of productive employees instead of a room full of empty seats.

America may be facing a challenge, but we haven't chosen defeat.

We may have fallen, but we haven't given up.

And although we may have fumbled the ball, we haven't quit the game.

We may have millions of people out of work, but there is plenty of work to do.

The question is not whether there is work, the question is will the Federal Government and big companies and the big banks with their big bailouts get out of the way so we can do what needs to be done? We aren't looking for a bailout or a handout, we just need you to get out of the way.

Congress may be as paralyzed and as frozen as a cow patty in a Minnesota winter, but the people are alive and kicking.

We may not agree on what direction we should take, but we do agree that the direction we have been on is wrong.

We may not see eye to eye on everything we must do, but that does not mean we can't stand shoulder to shoulder to do something.

To the outside world, and even to ourselves, it may appear that we are divided, confused and stuck in chaos. It may look like a dirty, grimy mess, but this is America and our history proves to us that this is simply how Americans get things done.

Things don't get done in Washington D.C. or in the halls of Congress or in Times Square or on Wall Street. Things get done over the kitchen table, things get done in cafes and diners, things get done in the hallways and around the water coolers of every great place in America. Things get done where it counts, not in places where high priced lawyers pulling million dollar salaries debate over where to place a comma; things get done in the Mean Streets where we're trying to decide how best to pour the cement.

This is America, we have faced dark times before, we have struggled under recession and depression and near relentless enemies. We have faced famine and flood and natural disaster of every kind. We have seen bridges fail and we have rebuilt them, we have seen levees break and we have reconstructed them, we have experienced tragedy that has brought us to our knees and we have grieved but we didn't stay down. We wept together, we embraced our neighbors, we have helped each other back up, we have pulled together and gotten back to work. We were not down and out, we were getting ready.

We are Americans and this is America. Things may appear dark and bleak right now, it may appear as if we are in the midst of a storm, but better days are coming.

We are Americans, this is America; we are proud and we are strong and we are coming back, bigger, better, bolder, prouder and stronger than ever. We are not bent over under the weight of grief and despair, we are lacing our boots. We are not clenching our fists in hopelessness, we are putting on our gloves. We may be at the bottom of the count, but we are at the top of our game. We may be bruised, bloodied and battered, but like Rocky, we won't quit until we've won!

America is here, we are coming and we are coming out swinging! The world thinks they have us where they want us, but they don't know us; we can't be held back, we don't give up and we don't quit. When things are falling apart, Americans are pulling together; when things seem the darkest, Americans see the coming of dawn; when the rest of the world has given up, Americans are getting ready.

We are Americans, we are coming together to get things done because that's what needs to be done. We may not see eye to eye but we can stand shoulder to shoulder, we are not down and out, we are just getting ready. America is coming, we are coming back big, bold, proud and strong. We are going to be bigger, better and bolder than ever before. We are not down and out, we are on the rebound, and the rest of the world had better step aside because America is stepping up!

NON-VIOLENT CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE

Operations Manual

Defensive Tactic 1

KEY POINTS

“Brittle Barrier”

High Ground

Rendezvous Points

INTRODUCTION

The Water Flow Defense is an operational tactic used in non-violent civil disobedience actions. The Water Flow Defense is designed to minimize losses while maximizing an effective resistance. Used in situations in which police forces are poised to neutralize a standing position; this standing position may be an encampment, occupied zone, standing demonstration or march.

A key point to remember is that the police cannot attack something which isn’t there.

METHOD

As the police are assembling to drive against a standing position, preselected elements will assume 4 positions while previously relayed instructions will be repeated to all participants.

4 Positions

These four predetermined positions are as follows:

1. A group of volunteers will position as a line barrier across the police force anticipated avenue of approach. These volunteers may or may not link arms and/or sit down to provide additional strength in resisting police attempts to disperse them or arrest them. As it is likely that the police will use tear gas/pepper spray and/or sonic means to disrupt the barrier, barrier volunteers may wish to wear swim goggles to help protect the eyes, moistened handkerchiefs over the nose and mouth and ear protection of some type. Although these measures will provide a very limited means of protection, they may provide the few extra seconds necessary for other demonstrators to effectively move into their assigned positions.

The purpose of this “brittle barrier” is to last long enough to cause police forces to bunch up in front of it. This permits other groups to move into position. Members of this “brittle barrier” will be arrested, as such they must be fully aware of this contingency and be prepared for their arrest and possible injury.

The name of this line; “brittle barrier” is because it is designed to collapse after a few moments – or minutes if possible – allowing the police to move through the line of the barrier into the rearward areas.

2. Another group of volunteers will assume high ground positions – most likely rooftop positions – in positions which extend through and beyond police force masses. The purpose of these “high ground” volunteers – in peaceful disobedience – is to shout slogans at the police and capture with video and audio – livestreamed if possible – all police action against the encampment or standing position. These high ground positions must occupy all preselected positions within a radius of several blocks of the encampment and police assembly areas.

3. A third group will disperse from the encampment and move into position behind the police assembly areas. Movement to this position must avoid police contact and observation. Once assembled behind the police, these volunteers will silently observe the police assembly until the police initiate action against the encampment. Until the police initiate action, this group must remain at a distance behind the police force which is out of range of any immediate police response. This group will assemble in whatever locales the police force is assembling, i.e. if the police force is assembling in the street, this group will assemble in the streets behind the assembling police but at a distance the police cannot reach without dispersing themselves. When the police initiate action, this group will advance to close the distance between themselves and the police force, but not advance any closer than 20 to 50 feet until the moment the “brittle barrier” collapses. When the “brittle barrier” collapses, this group will close to contact.

4. Group four will be those volunteers who will position themselves along predetermined avenues of escape for the members of the encampment. Their purpose will be to guide encampment members to escape the encampment location quickly and safely to predetermined rendezvous points. “Rendezvous point” captains will be part of group four and will take position at their selected rendezvous points to receive encampment members and await further instructions.

PROCESS

As the police force begin their advance to the brittle barrier, members of the encampment will begin to decamp and move to their assigned rendezvous points. The intent of the brittle barrier is to both provide enough time for encampment members to safely decamp and bunch the police force for possible peaceful interaction.

As the police are clearing the encampment site, demonstrators located at the rendezvous points will either A. wait until police have left the area and then retake the encampment site, or B. upon further instruction, retire to another location (or locations) to establish a new encampment.

GOALS

The objectives of the “Water Flow Defense” is to minimize arrests and injury by providing the police with no targets. All targets will have (ideally) dispersed to their predetermined rendezvous points when the police reach the encampment site.

An additional objective is to provide a continuity of demonstration or occupation with little disruption. Within a few hours - or perhaps days – demonstrators will have either returned to the original encampment site to continue their demonstration or have moved to a new location where their demonstration will continue.

A tertiary objective will be to allow livestreaming – if possible – of police action against the demonstrators and their encampment and/or provide evidence against the police in any future legal action. This will primarily come from the high ground positions and any sidewalk photojournalists.

CONSIDERATIONS

The group three members will, upon contact with the police, take no action, but remain peaceful and non-violent at all times. As contact is made, the police will initiate all action. This group may either remain silent throughout their engagement, or begin shouting slogans when they begin their movement to contact. Should the police station a rearguard, the main body of group three will advance directly to contact while up to 30% may siphon off to side streets and overhead or underground passageways, circumventing police contact, to interposition themselves between the police rearguard and the main body of police.

CONCLUSION

The “Water Flow Defense” provides a means to continue a peaceful occupation or demonstration with little disruption in continuity. It provides a form of tactical “defense-in-depth” and positions demonstrators into advantageous locations where their collaboration can be maximized. The “Water Flow Defense” essentially, and effectively, leverages the fluid nature of the demonstrators against the static dynamic of police methodology.

When, in the course of human events, it becomes necessary

for one people to dissolve the political bands which have

connected them with another, and to assume among the

powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to

which the laws of nature and of nature's God entitle them,

a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that

they should declare the causes which impel them to the

separation.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are

created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator

with certain unalienable rights, that among these are

life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That to

secure these rights, governments are instituted among men,

deriving their just powers from the consent of the

establishment of an absolute tyranny over these states.

To prove this, let facts be submitted to a candid world.

The stench of death lay heavy in the air. the place was a warzone. Buildings lay crumpled, destroyed, ruined. Trees are shattered. Tanks and Hummvees, trucks and the carcasses of cars are burning. I can still hear the staccato of automatic fire in the distance. The whop, whop, whop of a chopper passes overhead. Crouching behind a broken brick wall, I turn my shortwave radio to one of the last few remaining stations. It screeches and belches, but I can hear "...the war, nations,... millions killed" and then the station fades away. I don't know if it's from the giant sunstorms which fried the upper atmosphere and many of our satellites or from the nukes which finished off the cities. After the comets hit, it was every nation for itself. Unfortunately, almost

every nation seemed to have a grudge with the USA.

The Coming of the AntiChrist - Deception Unveiled - A Speculation

1. 1. Thursday - May 19, 2011

President Obama suggests Israel should return to 1967 borders allowing the establishment of a Palestinian state.

2. 2. Friday – May 20, 2011

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel, meeting with President Obama, declares that Israel will never relinquish control of the lands it captured in the Six Day War of 1967, because those borders are indefensible.

3. 3. The Muslim world is intent upon the creation of a Palestinian state located on the lands Israel captured in 1967. One of the nations most intent upon this quest is Iran.

A Possible Conclusion

A. Would the Muslim world agree to relinquish the 3^rd holiest location in Islam, the Dome of the Rock Mosque in Jerusalem, traditional site of Solomon’s Temple, in exchange for receiving the lands Israel conquered in 1967 and permitting the Israelis to tear down the Mosque in order to rebuild the Temple?

B. Would Israel agree to revert to its pre-1967 borders in exchange for two conditions:

1. To receive the Dome of the Rock Mosque in Jerusalem in order to tear it down and rebuild Solomon’s Temple,

2. That the United States and/or NATO and/or other bodies guarantee the borders of Israel?

LAYERS OF DECEPTION

1) – Layer 1 – The Overt Layer

The first layer of deception is the obvious layer. This is where things appear to be as they are and very few dig any deeper to identify possible hidden meanings. Those who do are often ridiculed as “Conspiracy Theorists” or “Biblical” or “Christian fanatics”. This first layer is the world as we see it and is good enough for the “dumbed down” population. They blindly accept what they obviously see.

2) – Layer 2 – The Biblical Layer

This layer is in accordance with what most of those who study the Bible and attend church could accept. Their interpretations of the meaning of the Bible are a result of their study and their degree of understanding. Although not necessarily wrong, their understanding may not be deep enough to identify the full truth.

3) – Layer 3 – The Deep Layer

The “general” layer; so-called because its thread runs throughout history from the time of Satan’s deception of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. The purpose of the first two layers above is to convince people no further layers of meaning exist – that there is no deeper intent or meaning. Additionally, the purpose of the first two layers is to assure people that their understanding is complete and accurate – at whatever level they are willing to discern. Here, the symbols of Layer 2 are symbols hiding the meaning of the symbols of Layer 3.

OSAMA BIN LADEN

“I saw a beast coming out of the sea. He had ten horns and seven heads… One of the heads of the beast seemed to have had a fatal wound, but the fatal wound had been healed. The whole world was astonished and followed the beast.”

On May 2, 2011, United States Special Forces – SEAL Team 6 – attacked Osama Bin Laden’s compound in Pakistan at 1AM local time killing him with a shot to the chest and another to the head. Either shot may have been fatal, but the shot to the head most certainly was. His body was retrieved by SEAL Team 6 for identification and upon verification of his identity, the body was washed according to Islamic tradition. His body was transported to the USS Carl Vinson, an aircraft carrier stationed in the Arabian (Persian) Gulf. An Islamic service was held aboard the aircraft carrier and Osama Bin Laden’s body was buried at sea on May 3. Photos of his body and his burial at sea were not made public.

Although Revelation 13: 1 & 3 seem to suggest a state or organization rather than a person, if, in some way, Osama Bin Laden is resurrected or reappears, this event alone may unite the entire Islamic world. Neither the Bible nor any other source indicate that Satan has the power to resurrect the dead. That does not mean he couldn’t do it, only that, to date, he has not. However, this power seems reserved to God. But if, Osama Bin Laden were to reappear apparently from out of the sea or from the sea, everyone would be convinced it was God who did it, further verifying and confirming the “righteousness” and “accuracy”, in their eyes, of the absolute authority of the Islamic religion by Muslims everywhere.

If Osama Bin Laden were to reappear, the probability is that such a person is either an imposter, or that the person killed by SEAL Team 6 was an imposter leaving the real Osama Bin Laden free to reenter the world. According to ABC News, the DNA which positively identified the body killed by SEAL Team 6 as Osama Bin Laden’s was confirmed by Mass General Hospital, which had samples of Osama’s sisters’ DNA in storage. When asked by the Boston Metro newspaper if this were true, officials at Mass General stated they could not confirm such allegations.

THE DOME OF THE ROCK MOSQUE

Located in Jerusalem upon the traditional site of Solomon’s Temple, the Dome of the Rock Mosque is the third holiest site in Islam. It is said that here, Mohammed , the founder of Islam, was taken by the angel Gabriel to pray with Abraham, Moses and Jesus. Traditionally, he later ascended to heaven from here and this is also believed to be the rock upon which Abraham was prepared to sacrifice his son Isaac.

Completed in 691 AD, The Dome of the Rock Mosque slowly sank into a period of decay and disrepair. This accelerated under the British Mandate established in 1918 in the Middle East when Great Britain acquired the Middle Eastern lands of the Ottoman Empire, an ally of Germany. The Ottoman Empire was the world’s first Islamic state and according to some records, the Ottoman Empire was established in 1290AD.

In 1964, King Saud Bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia at the request of the Islamic Council, asked a construction engineer, contractor and friend of the king, to not only restore the Mosque to its former glory, but to enlarge it and make it more beautiful than before. This construction contractor was Mohammed Bin Laden, father to Osama Bin Laden. This may provide Osama Bin Laden with some degree of claim and authority over the Dome of the Rock.

If a resurrected Osama Bin Laden were to claim this authority, he may consider encouraging Israel to withdraw to its pre-1967 borders by offering the Dome of the Rock Mosque in exchange. Israel would then be free to tear down the mosque and rebuild its temple.

More recently, an Israeli has concluded that the Temple of Solomon, the Temple desired by Jews everywhere, actually stood a few meters from the Dome of the Rock. This would permit the construction of the temple without disturbing the mosque. The two would be separated by a long, high wall.

As leader of the Islamic world, and perhaps as the 12^th Imam and Caliph, Muslims may accept either of these proposals should either be recommended by Osama Bin Laden.

All of this is simply speculation. But if any of this is fulfilled, we may indeed be living in the End Times; the Last Days may be upon us.

2011 Inflation Estimate

I stopped doing the inflation estimates because my figures were so far off the "official" estimates, I knew someone was manipulating the figures. Now I have discovered that the official US government estimates are not based on the actual inflation rate, but rather on an target figure so as not to make the inflation rate appear too high.

Hmmm. That doesn't serve the American people in any way whatsoever. The federal government should be stating the facts, not fudging the figures. They should be trusting the American people to make up their own mind on the issues. But if the feds did that, they all may be looking for a new job...

With that in mind, it seems that my inflation estimates were accurate after all. Although there is no real way of establishing the real rate of inflation because of all the fudging of the figures that goes on, my estimate has been accurate within .1-.5% since 1986.

My inflation estimate for 2011 is 11.06%. This is a target and the range of the target is up to 1 point plus or minus. i am using the best data I have access to so we will see at the end of the year how accurate I am.

11.06% is particularly high and indicates a severe crisis in the economy. Debt, unemployment, non-discretionary spending, defense spending, rising gas and food prices, rising prices in commodities and rising prices in basic essentials are all contributing to this crisis. I have a solution but it is a bitter pill to swallow and I am guessing it won't happen.

If we don't resolve these problems - and the only solution is God, not man - we will self-destruct. I don't know if it will happen next week or next year, I don't know if it won't happen for another 100 or 500 years, but the problem is now, we also must find the solution now.

Defeating the Islamic Extremists

(A Draft)

A counterinsurgency strategy is based on an understanding of the underlying causes of that insurgency. Attriting the existing members of that insurgency will not defeat the insurgency. Overturning the governments which seem to support or assist insurgency will not defeat the insurgents. In fact, both of these actions may radicalize those individuals not currently aligned or supportive of the insurgents and increase the number of insurgents available to the cause.

A primary underlying cause of insurgency is the ideology of those believing in the goals and aims of that cause. An ideology cannot be defeated with weapons or occupation of “enemy” territory; the weapons in play are ideas, the locations are every nation, city, village and home in the world.

One of the first acts in defeating a conventional enemy is to cut off the enemy’s ability to communicate. This eliminates the ability of the enemy to control and command his elements in the field leading to disorganization and mislocation of those elements. This leaves those elements vulnerable to attack and elimination.

The act of cutting off the insurgent’s ability to communicate may prove effective at a global level; the worldwide leadership, financial support and ideological recruitment on a mass scale would be eliminated. This will not eliminate local leadership, financial support or recruitment. These actions will continue regardless of how many “terrorist” nations are occupied or how many terrorists are killed.

Muslims believe that Islam is a superior ideology, it is not just a religion, it is a way of life which filters and colors every aspect of Islamic society. In the West, democracy is a form of government which separates religion from the state and empowers the individual over their leaders. Western women are not beholden to men, the people are not beholden to their leaders who govern and the faithful are not beholden to their clergy. In Islam, these roles are reversed. Democracy is a bottom up way of life, Islam is a top down form. In democracy, control rests with the people, in Islam, control rests with the leadership. And that is the fundamental difference. It is also the key weakness.

The objective of a leadership is to conserve or expand their power; every contrary belief, ideology or government is a threat to that power and therefore must be countered and vigorously opposed. The radical mullahs and imams are following this role exactly.

Around the world, the extremists are spreading their ideology of hate and vitriol. They shout slogans meant to inspire and enrage. They paint the western world as evil, with the leader of the western world - the United States – as the “great Satan”. With the interconnectedness of the worldwide web, the radical extremists themselves are deeply intertwined as a den of snakes is intertwined. Cutting their communications separates the snakes, but does not kill them.

Over the last several years, we have seen that one strategy to counter terrorism and aggression will be ineffective; to convince the enemy leadership that hostile actions on their part will spell defeat rather than victory. The mullahs and imams are convinced of their eventual success and are willing to die to achieve it. When one is captured or killed, another steps up to take their place, the ideology is not diminished, their war effort does not stumble, it continues essentially unchanged.

We must find another means of leverage rather than the weapons of war and the hypocritical foreign policy we now follow. We must convince the Islamic leadership, all of them, that aggression against the West will spell the end if Islam. Alternatively, we must convince the leaders and the Muslim people that the true nature of Islam seeks to abide in peace and cooperation with other states and religions.

In Nazi Germany, Hitler’s followers and war machine were constrained by geography; the geographical field of battle for radical Islam is the world. With Nazi leadership, there were a few who held power and maintained their ideology. With this power, they convinced their people that their worldview was accurate and true. Using media and mass meetings they informed their people of the ills of their enemies focusing the attention and anger of their people against their enemy fanning the flame of their rage. The mullahs and imams are following this same strategy. Using mosques, madras, mass media and worldwide communications, the radical leadership convinces their people of the evils of the Western world. They convince people that the Western world’s politics is evil, our economy is evil, our culture is evil, our foreign policy is evil, our disparate religions are evil and our liberalization of women and education are evil. These are points which cannot be easily countered as they appear accurate from one point of perspective. We can believe that our culture, politics and religions and the separation of church and state are superior, but from the point of view of the Islamic world, they are not.

Strategies for Defeating the Extremists

The extremists believe they are serving the wishes of Allah, they understand that Allah is the guiding force and principle that drives their ideology. With this single statement, we see the key to defeat the Islamic extremists.

There are two methods we can employ to win this war. Or, perhaps, we can employ both to some degree. The first is that, if the imams and mullahs believe Allah is their guiding force, is encouraging them and approving of their actions, (and they do) we must convince them that Allah is not. We must convince the extremists that Allah is opposed to violence, that Allah is opposed to the forced introduction of Islam into nations and communities that do not currently have an Islamic following and that Allah does not support the denigration of spirit or the continued illiteracy of the individual. And we must convince the extreme mullahs and imams that Allah will punish those who support violence, radicalism and extremism in the name of Islam.

A second method is to educate, employ and advance the common Muslim into an understanding of a world that has no place for violence, destruction or hatred and to convince the everyday Muslim that a personal policy of peace, education, hard work, entrepreneurship and honesty and integrity is the fastest and surest path to assure the achievement of the stated tenets and goals of Islam and of their own and their families benefit.

Islam is a great and peaceful religion which can peacefully and cooperatively coexist with other religions and non-Islam states. This is the heritage and history of Islam and we must remind the Muslim people of this historical legacy of Islam.

In pursuit of method one, we must place doubt in the minds of those who lead and direct the extremist movement. We must position Western trained and/or progressive Islam viewing imams, mullahs and Islamic scholars in two positions in Islamic society. One position is as a key advisor to those who make the decisions. These people must be willing to sacrifice their lives and die at the hands of their own people or Westerners because their cover will be so deep, no one will know who they are. As key advisor, they should relay doubt on decisions and actions of the decision makers by asking “would Allah really approve?,” by quoting surahs from the Quran which show an alternative to that decision, by identifying hadiths and historical actions which will benefit the cause of peace and by the continuous application of doubt about hostile actions and encouragement for peaceful actions.

The second position for these progressive individuals is within their communities. As university professors, doctors, lawyers, school teachers, local authorities, judges et al, the impact these progressive individuals can play in their communities can be substantial. Their influence will not only be contained within their community, but as their message filters out into the general population, it will eventually circle the globe. These progressive individuals must also view themselves as potential martyrs for a more peaceful world. As visible promoters of a progressive Islam within their communities, their safety and security can, perhaps, be addressed but not assured by Western military and intelligence actions.

In either case, identifiable contact between these individuals and any Western military, intelligence or even perhaps any Western person may compromise their position and undermine their influence.

In pursuit of method two, wherever possible, schools for the school age and training centers for those above school age should be established. The world has entered into a new economic period and the old style of economics has failed. A new style of personally integrated economics emphasizing personal financial responsibility must be established. Self sufficiency in homes and communities must be encouraged. Individual entrepreneurship must be encouraged. A job is no longer a guarantee of income and has never been a guarantee of future financial freedom or a source of individual empowerment. Literacy, Islamic and world history, mathematics and creative artistic studies must be encouraged in each school and training center. Islam must be encouraged to embrace the potential of the individual, not to suppress it.

Neither of these two methods will end this war overnight or even in a year or two. Both will take time and perhaps even a decade or more. In the meantime, we must protect our homeland without abrogating our rights, encourage peace without sacrificing our principles and promote change without losing our heritage. The battle will not be easy but it can be won. This war will require persistence and determination perhaps over many years, but we won the Cold War, we can do it again.

1. Nuclear Proliferation – The policy of the United States shall be to prevent states from acquiring nuclear weapons. It is understood that states have a need for self-defense as well as a need for energy. The United States supports the Non-Proliferation Treaty and supports the introduction of nuclear power plants into any nation which deems it necessary to introduce them. The objective of the United States is that the most efficient, green and technologically advanced power plants are desirable. Several states possess nuclear weapons. These weapons must be kept safe and secure from all threats from within and without that nation. If necessary, to protect these weapons from falling into the hands of terrorists or international criminal organizations or entities, the United States will act unilaterally to secure these weapons. Fissionable materials and nuclear waste currently in existence and that which may be generated by future activities must be secured and adequately disposed within the highest international standards.

2. Green Energy – Global warming threatens the existence of humanity. Though scientific surveys and advisers may disagree, it cannot be discounted that carbon gasses in the atmosphere pose a threat to the environment and may already have done nearly irreparable damage. Therefore, the objective of the United States shall be to promote green energy in any way possible within fiscal responsibility. This shall hold forth regardless of the state or organization researching or providing said technology.

3. International Infrastructure - The United States supports 100% complete self-sufficiency in each community, urban area, residence and facility and shall seek, encourage and promote all research and activities to secure such promise. Medical facilities of appropriate scale and educational facilities with programs in consideration of the customs, culture and history of the location shall be maintained but also those which provide education in world history, democratic process and moral and immoral capitalism and other economic forms shall be provided. Individual farming, household water management, facility waste management, home energy sufficiency and other programs as identified which promote and provide individual and household independence and self-sufficiency from centrally organized networks shall be established and researched. Highways, dams, railways and other transportation modes shall be encouraged to promote interdiversity, education, economic progress, the democratic process and facilitate integration of worldwide tolerance.

4. Ocean Fishing – Worldwide fisheries are becoming exhausted. Continued overfishing will deplete the replenishment of fish within their fishing banks. The United States shall support a worldwide rotation of states undertaking fishing within common fisheries. In addition, the United States shall introduce to the United Nations legislation that creates an organization which regulates “ocean ranching.” As in the Old West of the United States, research shall be undertaken until a solution is discovered permitting the operation of fishing ranches worldwide. These will operate by providing safety and security to breeding populations of seagoing creatures, feeding them and then harvesting them at maturity when the cycle will renew.

5. Whaling – Cetaceans are intelligent creatures. No research can be done on any intelligent creature without that creature’s assent. If there is no communication between you and that creature, there is no assent. Whaling is illegal, the United States shall protect to whatever degree whales from being slaughtered by any nation by any means necessary.

6. Piracy – Piracy is an act of war committed by individuals against seagoing vessels and commerce. The United States shall instruct the United States Navy and Marine Corps to maintain a presence in known areas of pirate activity thereby to destroy without recourse any and all those caught in the act of piracy. Those who are captured without being caught in the act of piracy yet are suspected of such actions will be classified as terrorists.

7. Terrorist Prisoners – Terrorist prisoners are prisoners of war and will be detained under the auspices of the Geneva Convention with all the rights granted thereto with certain exceptions. The exception is that the ideology of terrorism is a permanent cause. Releasing any terrorist prisoner back into the mainstream of life will only yield future acts of terrorism by that individual. Therefore, the United States shall seek provision from the United Nations to treat all terrorist prisoners as war criminals which, if convicted, shall bear the penalty of life or at minimum life under incarceration. Should the United Nations or other international body fail in its obligation to classify these prisoners as war criminals and to exact the suggested penalty, the United States retains the right to act unilaterally within these guidelines with all terrorist prisoners it holds.

8. The Internet – The objective of the United States is a worldwide internet free of governmental restriction or control of any kind by any nation. An unfettered, free and open internet in each and every country is the objective of the United States. As such an unfettered, free internet will provide for the illegal action of individuals exploiting children, pornography, identity or monetary theft and fraud or crimes against which a nation may hold, the United States shall promote the ability of each state to investigate, capture and prosecute each activity as that state shall deem fit. The restriction of the internet is not permissible in the view of the United States and the United States shall actively pursue the openness and freedom of the internet in each and every state, but also encourage each state to justly uphold and enforce its own laws within international stated parameters.

9. Economics –

a. A global economy cannot be denied. The reality of each state intertwined economically with all others is a current and future state. The objective of the United States is to encourage the growth in the economy of each nation and state, the promotion and introduction of capitalism to each nation of the world at a time and manner suitable for that nation and the establishment of capitalism unique to the culture, history and customs of that state.

b. The immorality of uncontrolled capitalism cannot be denied as the Robber Barons of the United States 19^th and early 20^th centuries attest and as the Enron’s, Bernie Madoff’s and Wall Street bonuses at the expense of Main Street America of current times present. The United States shall propose new legislation both internationally and domestically which bears real teeth for any grievance of illegality. This proposal shall include - upon complaint, investigation, justification and warrant - immediate seizure and impoundment of all a corporation’s assets and facilities, immediate cessation of all activities, immediate imprisonment of all executives and replacement of executives with federal agents thoroughly trained and certified in corporate management and operations. Executives shall be released from imprisonment only upon completion of filing of appropriate charges and presentment of bail as ordered. Corporations so seized shall be returned to operations under federal management as soon as conditions permit but within 24 to 48 hours whenever possible. Future disposition of such corporations shall remit to legislation and may include continued operations with no further action, sell-off of assets or other restructuring as may be determined.

10. Capitalism – A new form of capitalism must be devised. The capitalism of the past has failed. The greed and immorality inherent within the human heart bears fruition within a capitalist (or even socialist, fascist or other) system. A prosumer, individual approach to financial capability must be established. The United States shall seek to establish in each worldwide urban area a school of capitalism that teaches this new form of capitalism to all students. This new form of capitalism must take morality, spirituality, individualism and care for others, amongst other items, into consideration. Individual savings, individual self-employment, individual financial independence, individual self-sufficiency and individual green living are all tenets of the new capitalism.

a. World Bank and IMF – The World Bank and the International Monetary Fund are prime examples of the misdirection of the old style of capitalism. These institutions must be restructured to secure true rewards for the people of the area in which economic progress and peaceful modernization is the objective. This restructuring must include the tenets of the new capitalism.

11. Democracy – The policy of the United States is to promote and encourage democracy in each and every nation. The mode of democracy must be unique to that state with consideration of the culture, history and customs of the people of that state. The United States shall promote the peaceful integration of democracy within each state at a rate that state shall deem appropriate. The United States shall not seek to enforce or require any state to accept the United States brand of democracy except that the rights of each person shall be respected as well as the one person, one vote, openness of the democratic process, transparency of government and freedom of political parties philosophy of democracy shall be maintained.

12. War Policy –

a. The United States shall herewith not intervene overtly or covertly in the internal affairs of any state which adheres to internationally accepted norms of freedom and democracy. The United States shall not enter into war with any state without hostile action from that state. Hostile action may include, but is not restricted to, nation-state hostilities, state-sponsored terrorism or individual or group terrorism or hostilities. The United States will respond to protect and preserve the lives, rights, assets and freedoms of American citizens in any state.

b. The Strategy of Peace – This initiative is the modus operandi of the United States; to avert war, we must prepare for war; to ensure peace, we must be assertive in our policies, to be a leader, we must be adamant in our principles. We will conduct our international relations in accordance with this policy as it presents an understanding of the human control of nation-state and group hostile actions committed upon others. To secure peace, the United States must not only be assertive, it must also understand the mind of those who would call for war or aggression against the United States or its citizens.

13. Intelligence Policy – To prevent war, the United States must be prepared for war. To prepare for war appropriately requires that the United States secure accurate information regarding the actions and plans of any potential adversary. This accurate information may be gathered in modes which the United States deems necessary and appropriate to achieve its goals including that of covert action and covert surveillance. Any and all information gathered must remain secure and classified for a sanctioned interval of time.

14. Natural Resources – Natural resources are a worldwide commodity controlled by a state or several states. The right of each state to control its commodities as it sees fit within international norms shall not be restricted. United States policy shall be to allow nation-state control and administration of its natural resources vis-a-vis such management does not adversely affect world affairs or economic progress.

15. International Space Command – The United States shall seek an International Space Command organized under the auspices of the United Nations to provide for the training, access and exploration of space for all nations. Planet Earth is becoming overcrowded and resources are depleting while an inexhaustible supply of resources and living space exists just a few hundred kilometers overhead. The peaceful and green exploration and development of space shall be the goal and purpose of this organization. Headquarters of the International Space Command will be made available, perhaps utilizing the former Presidio of San Francisco.

16. Foreign Policy – The United States does not exist in a unilateral world. A global, multi-polar world has grown all around the United States and the United States must seize the initiative to be the leader of the global community. This requires commitment to international norms of behavior, adherence to the rights and principles of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence and establishing open lines of communication with allies, friends and foes alike. No longer will the United States support dictators and totalitarian regimes in countries whose sole benefit to the United States is their resources, strategic position or influence with their neighbors. Support for any such states or leaders, whether overt or covert, shall be terminated.

17. Russia – The United States policy is to establish and maintain Russia as a true, strong and valuable ally of the United States.

18. Vietnam – We seek a raproachment with Vietnam. To serve that end, the United States shall initiate and promote continued communications with the Vietnam government, joint operations with its military and an engagement with the commerce and democratic process of the people of Vietnam. The United States shall upon request, station troops along the Vietnam-Chinese border to preserve the territorial integrity of the state of Vietnam. The objective of the United States is a peaceful, open Vietnam with a movement toward the new capitalism and democratic process.

19. Cuba – Fidel Castro has stated that the communist form of economics has failed although the Revolution lives on. The Revolution that Fidel speaks of is that of the immoral and greed of the old (current) capitalist model.

20. China – China is a strong and stable ally in East Asia. We must find ways of cultivating that relationship while maintaining our security and the security of other nations and territories in the area.

a. With this in mind however, we note the increasing aggressiveness and imperialist tendencies of China. The United States will seek to thwart these tendencies in ways that promote peace, liberty and security of the region while protecting and enhancing the natural rights of all people. We will applaud every effort of China to expand and extend democracy in their own land and we will condemn every reversal or diminution of this. We fully expect China will apply this same policy to the United States.

b. Tibet: The Office of the President of the United States privately acknowledges that Tibet has been part of China for many hundreds of years. We have no idea where the propaganda of a free Tibet originated or what purpose it serves. Having said that, we support the Dalai Lama in his efforts at peace and stability and for the integration of Tibet into the world community. Publicly, the United States will support the call of a free Tibet but shall not act to make this a reality, except in meetings with the exiled Tibetan government headed by the Dalai Lama.

c. Stealth: We hereby acknowledge that China possesses stealth technology that may equal or exceed the United States’ own stealth capabilities. We understand that China is in possession of stealth missiles, aircraft and submarines the United States cannot currently detect. Any intrusion into United States, Canadian or Mexican airspace or any violation of territorial integrity, whether land or sea, of any three, will be considered an act of war and specific measures to counter said threat shall be undertaken.

d. Commandos: Chinese commandos, special operations forces and military, paramilitary or terrorist personnel violating the airspace or assuming a presence on the ground or sea within the United States, Canada or Mexico will be considered an act of war. The United States hereby authorizes the use of lethal force. After the first warning and return of surviving prisoners to China, no prisoners shall be taken.

e. Any attack or destruction of United States equipment, materials, disruption of supplies or death of United States citizens whether military or civilian whether in or over the United States or territories or allies thereof or any third country or international or spatial region where the United States maintains a presence, will be countered with equivalent and direct force.

f. Taiwan: The United States is a friend and ally of Taiwan. Any threat to Taiwan by China will be countered, any attack will be countered and every attempt to thwart the special relationship the United States maintains with Taiwan will be countered. If China wants Taiwan, they must fight us for it.

g. Pacific Friends and Allies: The territories of the United States and the friends and allies of the United States throughout the Pacific and Indian Ocean region are under the military protection of the United States.

h. Freedom of Religion/Christianity: The United States seeks to promote freedom of religion within China. The assault of churches and believers, destruction of churches and meeting centers, arrest, detention and torture of attendees at services has been duly noted. The United States condemns such action. Upon request and whenever possible, the United States will support and donate materials, funds and supplies to the establishment and maintenance of any religious center or organization so requesting.

i. Freedom of Assembly/Protest/Demonstration/Redress: The right of any and all human beings to meet and protest, demonstrate for or against a cause or their government to petition their government or elected or public figures for redress of grievances, to seek equitable justice by or from their government or public officials and to associate with one another shall not be denied, prohibited, interfered with or prevented by China, as assessed by the United states or appropriate world body, and will not be condoned by the United States and may be met with an action of condemnation, sanctions or other action as is deemed necessary and appropriate by the United States.

j. Freedom of Speech/Press/Internet: China’s sometimes subtle and sometimes open and aggressiveness hostile action against its own citizens seeking these rights and the use of these measures has been noted. The United States shall not condone any action when observed.

k. Cyber Warfare: The increasingly aggressiveness and hostile actions by China against the United States and the world community has been duly noted. Each and every hostile action by China in the cybersphere shall be considered an act of war and countered with equal force.

21. North Korea – North Korea is waiting for reunification. We must push for that reunification with South Korea as soon as possible. The United States will seek to restrain and prevent North Korea from violating the peace, liberty or security of its neighbors or of the world.

22. Japan – Our ally Japan has been aligned with the US and with US interests since the end of World War 2. Following a carefully executed economic policy with the quality control standards of W. Edward Deming and a manufacturing process copied from the US, Japan has been a shining example of what many nations can aspire to. Japan’s economy is uniquely Japanese, highly capitalistic and free flowing. Although there are problems, there are no problems which the Japanese cannot handle on their own.

23. Asia – The nations of East and South Asia are the fastest growing economies of the world. Each uniquely their own, yet each is a member of the growing world community. We must assure the unfettered progress, growth and integrity of each of these while it lives in peace with its neighbors, its own population enjoys the enhanced wealth of a world economy and the world benefits from the culturally diverse natures of each entity.

24. Europe – The nations of Europe are the ancestral home for the vast majority of Americans. The United States is close allies with or friendly with nearly all nations of Europe. The nations of Europe are all generally democracies, each with their own particular flavor of democracy.

25. Africa – Africa is a great, historic and beautiful continent of majestic scenery, rich history and enthralling culture. Many nations exist on the African continent, some of which are friends or allies with the United States and some of which are not. Each nation shall be treated in due measure with the full consideration of its relationship with its people, its role on the world stage and its association with the United States.

A Policy for the Next President

This is a work in process and subject to change, expansion and clarification.

The Military

1. Size – the size of the American military is excessive. The budget of the United States military equals or exceeds the arms expenditures of all other nations combined. Therefore, a 5% reduction in military spending each year for five years will be established. This budgetary decrease may be terminated or reversed at any time as world affairs may require. It is suggested that of this reduction, 5% be transferred to the space program, 5% to infrastructure reconstruction and maintenance, 5% to debt reduction and 5% to education, half of which shall go to tuition scholarships and half to identify the world’s leading nations in education and send American teachers to attend, observe and be certified in the teaching methods of those nations. Upon their return to the United States after certification, these teachers shall disperse their educational reforms to their constituent schools, local, national or international bodies as they see fit.

2. Objective – The objective of the American military establishment is first and foremost, to protect the people and territory of the United States from all enemies, to secure and protect international lines of communication and commerce for all nations, to present American influence and provide for the security of allies and friends, to project American military force and power and provide for the successful conclusion of any engagement. When necessary, the military shall fight to preserve these tenets but only when the endgame is clearly defined, the necessary forces are assembled, adequately trained and equipped, senior military commanders are provided with clear instruction as to the politics and endgame and objectives and political leaders free the military to commit to battle and complete the war without micromanagement from the political establishment.

3. Maritime Policy – The United States Navy shall be forward deployed and actively engaged. The United States Navy retains a long tradition of honor and bravery and this tradition shall be preserved and maintained. The sea forces of the United States are generally considered the first arm of the United States to present the presence and power of the United States in areas where such presence and power are deemed necessary by the political arm of the United States. To this end, the United States Navy and US Marine Corps must receive the necessary funds to secure adequate equipment, supply and training of its forces capable of meeting and defeating any conceivable threat within its purview of action and theater of operations.

a. Piracy – The anti-piracy role of the United States has been presented. The United States Navy and Marine Corps shall implement this policy and secure the objectives of this policy as stated.

4. Terrorism – The terrorist policy of the United States has also been presented. It is likely that the United States Army and/or Air Force will take precedence in these operations. Adequate funding to secure the objectives as stated must be provided.

5. United States Space Force – A United States Space Force shall be established to protect the right of the United States and its citizens and of all nations and entities the freedom of space operations as they see fit. No entity or nation has the right to adversely affect the operations of any other organization or entity in the conduct of its space affairs.

A Policy for the Next President

Domestic Policy

1. Social Security – Social Security is the elephant in the room no one talks about, it also the 800 pound gorilla that is eating everything in our kitchen. Along with Medicare and Medicaid, Social Security consumes the largest portion of the federal budget. This cost to the federal government must be reduced while retaining the level of benefits due to current and future generations.

a. The stock market is a varying market that has no place in providing assurance for future generations.

b. A 40 year plan should be adopted. Those just entering the work force and those with over 39 years remaining to retirement should have their funds dedicated to other sources. Those who have less than one year to retirement will have no change to their apportionment or benefits. Between 39 years and 1 year a slope of funding apportionment should be adopted. Wealth is generated not from the stock market but by investing in profitable investments. An investment must pay dividends – whether in the form of dividends, royalties, license or patent fees, copyright fees, rents or income from income trusts. The funds being contributed to the Social Security trust fund should be invested in these investments which pay a profit from day one.

2. Federal Reserve and Monetary Policy – The Federal Reserve shall be disbanded. Monies received as interest by the member banks of the Federal Reserve shall immediately be returned to the people of the United States by deposit into the United States Treasury. The US Mint shall print, coin and regulate all future monies of the United States. An audit of the Federal Reserve shall be conducted to ascertain the allocation of funds received from the TARP Program. (the Federal bailout). All said funds will be returned to the American people.

a. Gross Domestic Product – The GDP measures the wrong items. By measuring the mere exchange of goods and services we lose sight of the morals, ethics and humanity involved in each decision. There is no such thing as “it’s not personal, it’s just business”, everything is personal when it’s your job, your home, your paycheck or your family. We must initiate a dialogue that will create a real world index which measures a green world – educational status of our children and schools, volunteerism, preservation of farmlands, parks and natural areas, the number and degree of self sufficient communities and homes, innovation, entrepreneurship and new successful businesses. We must identify green paths to energy, dusting off old methods for new ideas, freeing the past to revitalize the future, issue patents and copyright on works and processes that work yet may operate beyond our simple understanding of today’s science. The success of America’s future depends on the foundations of the past, the institutions of today and the educational, entrepreneurial and innovative initiatives of the future. To stand idly by while other nations pass us in every conceivable measure is un-American. The future is ours to take, but we must grasp it today. Should we fail to act, should we fail to grasp, should we fail to hold on tightly, the world will pass us by and America herself will fall becoming just so much more dust in the dustbin of history.

3. Domestic Policy – We stand upon the threshold of tomorrow and we have a choice to make. We can choose destruction or we can choose life. That is the clearest and most realistic of all possibilities we face. There will be those who contend that this is wrong, that there is plenty of time, that there are numerous choices. But that is a delusion. There may be many variations within our choice, but our primary choices remain the same, choose destruction or choose life. In choosing death, all we must do is nothing. We are a train hurtling along such a path today and we are nearly out of track. To choose life means to change everything. As Winston Churchill once said, there will be “blood, sweat and tears.” We must shift from a consuming mentality to a prosuming mentality. We must shift from a credit economy to a savings economy. We must shift from instant gratification to delayed gratification. We must shift from a destructive ecology to a green ecology. To the greatest extent possible, each community and each home within that community must become self sufficient in its energy, food and water needs. We must develop ways of seeing the future that are different from the ways we have traveled in the past.

Geopolitics and People's Rights

Egypt is a representation of what happens when the US follows the expedient path of geopolitics rather than the hard path of principles and rights. The expedient path only serves (and enriches) those in power while the hard path of social justice allows self-determination by the people. The revolution in Egypt could wash over such US allies as Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. By supporting despotic regimes, we lose the support of the people who will, eventually, claim their rights and turn against the US.

Storms and MidEast Protests
A Speculative Correlation

Several months back, radar images on the National Weather Service site showed strange and large toroidal shapes over the Texas panhandle. They continued off and on for a period of several weeks. All were very hot with temperatures of around 300 degrees. One had a temperature in excess of 500 degrees.

To me, this was a clear indication of someone messing with the weather. At the time I had no idea what a huge, hot donut would do. I think we now have the answer.

The recent chain of storms, which does not appear to ending, originates in this exact region where the donut shapes appeared over the summer and fall. The internal heat of these toroids seems to be the fuel which is producing this spate of storms that has swept across the mid and eastern US. In the northeast, more snow has fallen in one month in some places than the average for a year.

Although some are attributing this to global warming (with which I more or less agree), I feel this unending train of storms is being manipulated into being - perhaps by the HAARPS or some other mechanism or device. The position of the jet stream is forcing arctic air from Canada into the US, which, colliding with the warm air produced by these toroids yields this chain of "super-storms". The jet stream itself is being held in place by a high pressure area over Greenland. This high also seems to be artificially induced, and may be held in place by HAARPS or some other unknown method.

What would be the purpose of this? I can only speculate, but I feel one answer may be to drain the already strained budgets of the municipalities and states of the east coast. It also may be to degrade the infrastructure or to undermine commerce by preventing people from going to work. When people don't go to work, they don't get paid, businesses lose money and cities and states receive less taxes. Because the majority of US people, business and finances are nested in this area, the impact of strained budgets, loss of personal income and reduced taxes may push the US into a double dip depression or perhaps another Great Depression.

So how does this correlate with all the turmoil in the MidEast?

I can certainly understand the anger and frustration of the people in this area who have suffered under despotic regimes for so long. They yearn for freedom and liberty as do all people. The dictators who lead their nations have crushed political dissent, limited freedom and communication in some states and tortured and executed thousands who oppose their rule. The anger of the people is understandable.
However, the actions of the leaders, Hosni Mubarak of Egypt and King Abdullah II of Jordan, seem to be intentionally acts to further provoke the people. In both countries, the people are crying out for freedom and an end to despotic rule. In both countries, the people want a government of the people, by the people, for the people. In both countries, the people want a completely new government with the ouster of the heads of each country the key goal of the people.

Yet, in both countries, the leaders have only dismissed the current government and replaced it with men who seem even more hardline than their predecessors. In both countries, the new second in command is either a former intelligence officer who was responsible for ruthlessly crushing the opposition or a military officer who did the same.

This does not seem like a move intended to placate the demonstrators. Rather, it seems like an intentional provocation. And, I believe it is.
Or at least could be. In Egypt, the Army (340,000 active troops) has sided with the people while the police (330,000 police) has sided with the government. Continued provocations on the part of Mubarak could lead to violence. The people, and perhaps the Army, may decide to take things into their hands in a new way by using violence to achieve their ends. With the police and Army fairly balanced, any hostilities by either side could plunge Egypt into civil war. Should Egypt descend into civil war this could destabilize the whole region. Libya and perhaps the Sudan or Ethiopia could also destabilize with riots in the streets and the people demanding the ouster of their leaders.

The nations of the Arabian peninsula would also be at risk. Saudi Arabia - our primary oil supplier - Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain - headquarters of the US Fifth Fleet - the UAE and Oman may all be at risk. All are key oil producers supplying much of the oil for the rest of the world. If these nations destabilize into riots and turmoil, the price of oil will easily reach $100 a barrel. Combined with the storms in the US and Australia (did I mention the chain of storms in Australia?), the entire world would be plunged into a Great Depression unlike the world has ever seen. The last several years in the US - with our near 10% unemployment, over 1 million foreclosed homes and a mass shift of a large part of the middle class into poverty - would all seem like "The Good Old Days".

If Jordan should plunge into civil war, the destabilization of all the nations of the Mideast would be a near certainty. This could require outside intervention to stem the turmoil and only two forces have the capability to provide that stability: NATO and the US Army. Neither force would be welcomed in the area. But, barring some internal resolution, some nation or force will have to step into the picture. If not a western force, then Iran almost certainly will and that simply cannot be allowed.

If Iran were to step into the picture, that would place Iran in control of the majority of the world's oil supplies. Although we are slowly moving toward and hoping and planning for a transition to a green economy, that simply will not happen fast enough to prevent destruction of the world economy if any of the preceding occurs.

Another possible force which could intervene in the Mideast would be a United Nations Force, but such a force does not yet exist in the numbers required to provide stability to the region. However, if necessary, the United Nations may create such a force.

So, with all the storms and the turmoil in the Mideast, the likely seems one of the most probable scenarios. Snowstorms in the northeast financial centers will sap the already overstretched budgets of states and municipalities in those areas. This would lead to a double dip recession in the US. Turmoil in the Mideast raises the price of oil to astronomical levels forcing the world into an economic decline. The Great Recession in the US evolves into another Great Depression. This spreads around the world forcing nearly every nation into great distress. At this point, resolutions may be provided for this crisis, including the introduction of a one world currency. Other measures would also be introduced, perhaps that of consolidating Egypt, Libya and either Ethiopia or the Sudan into a regional command under the auspices of the United Nations or a Mideast command. This regional command may include all the nations of the Mideast.

Another possibility is this. If a regional command were to be established that includes all the major oil producing nations of the Mideast and with Mexico (another world oil producer) already descending into civil war, (Oh, you didn't hear about that?) and if this regional command were to be placed under the actual or de facto command of the US, that would place China's oil supplies in jeopardy. The US would then have the power to dictate Chinese policy by holding its oil hostage.

Obviously, China would not accept this. To ensure its oil supplies, China may then roll its tanks across the Euphrates and into the Mideast. Should this occur, this would clearly set off a world war.

The best case scenario looks a little like this. The storms will eventually end. People will go back to work. The economy will recover over the course of the spring. The turmoil in the Mideast will settle down and the people there will be happy with their new governments. Oil prices will go down. Although things don't quite go back to the way they used to be, they will come close and everyone will live happily ever after. If only.
What I have represented is two opposite poles. The reality of the situation will probably work out to be something between those two extremes. But the best case scenario is not only unlikely, it is impossible. The United States is already bankrupt, Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, trillions of dollars in stimulus and trillions spent on unnecessary wars have drained the monetary reserves of the United States beyond the breaking point. It is already too late (unless we make a Radical change), it's just that no one has told us yet. The only way out is to reduce the military budget annually, privatize Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid and begin a new era of truly bipartisan politics on Capitol Hills. But I feel that is the least likely scenario of all. What do you think?

The reason we must privatize Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid is simple. Their growth rate as a percentage of the national budget is simply unsustainable. It will be only a matter of several years that these programs will require 100% of the US budget. Those who tell you otherwise are either outright lying, politicking or simply blind to the truth. Don't let them deceive you.

Those who say we must not allow Social Security to be privatized by putting it into the stock market are correct. The stock market is too volatile and unpredictable. You could have a million dollars in your account one day and be wiped out the other. But there is a way to privatize Social Security that would A. stimulate the US economy, B. be safe and C. provide at least the same amount (if not more) benefits than participants are now currently receiving.

This method would be to create a trust for each individual. Their social security payments would be placed into these accounts. The money in these accounts would be nontaxable until withdrawn. The trustee of each account would invest the funds of each account into safe, passive income investments. These investments would be required to pay a minimum of 7.5% a year in yield. There are many such investments of this nature ranging from asset-backed securities to oil and gas trusts to REIT's, BDC's and ETF's. Many of my advisors believe the US has passed the point of no return. Some of them have fled the country. There are groups of Christians as well as militia groups who have built camps in the mountains far away from civilization waiting for the day when it all comes down. They also believe it is too late. I know we have a very limited time remaining to turn things around and that turn around will require a dramatic change in the lifestyles of all Americans. That is unlikely to occur, but I also believe that, to God, all things are possible.

Conspiracy of the End Times

I have researched and studied finance, military strategy, economics, physics, history, business, religion and politics for over 30 years. Based on the understanding that arose from said research, I was able, in January 1986, to determine that a secret organization operating out of the White House basement was raising heroin and opium in Iran for sale in the US and Europe. With the money thus obtained, this organization then purchased weapons that were shipped onward to the Contra's in Nicaragua. The weapons seemed to have been mostly purchased through contacts (or a contact) in South Africa. Additional funding seemed to originate within Saudi Arabia. Some of the money was used to hire Israeli commandos to train the Contra's in Nicaragua.

With my understanding of military strategy, I devised a war plan for Iraq in November of 1990. This plan was essentially 95% identical as implemented on the ground by Gen. Norman Schwarzkopf in February of 1991. The only operational difference is that I envisioned an amphibious assault just north of Basra up the Umm Al Qasr. Where military talking heads were estimating no less than 10,000 combat deaths with some estimates as high as 30,000 and a war length of 3 to 6 months, I expected 750 combat deaths with a war length of 100 to 1000 hours.

The ground war lasted exactly 100 hours and approximately 250 Coalition troops were killed in combat.

In 1986, I devised an Inflation Algorithm which has been correct in predicting the forthcoming year's inflation rate to within 1/10 of a percent. This continued until just a few years ago when manipulation of the markets overrode organic market forces.

In 2005, I advised several of my acquaintances to pull out of the real estate market if they had investments therein and I advised others to withhold investing in real estate because a bubble had formed and would most likely burst within 1 to 3 years.

It was easy to see that George Bush would be elected President and I accurately projected that his election would be based on spurious results in Florida and then for his second term - in Ohio.

The election of Barack Obama was too obvious to require attention.

I do not provide this to brag, I provide this only to express that my insights have merit and validity.

We can all see that the United States has taken a dramatic turn for the worse over the last 2 or 3 decades. From the lies of the Nixon White House, the corruption and deceit of the federal government has only grown worse. Simultaneously, the Harvard/Wharton MBA's have sacrificed morality and ethics in business on the altar of high finance and greater profits. The average American knows this is wrong; he and she know that something is wrong with America. It is this feeling which has given rise to the Tea Party whose purpose is to restore the government to the people from whom it has been hijacked.

There are many who contend, and I am one of them, that a conspiracy exists at the highest levels of governmental affairs to thwart the will of the American people, subordinate the Constitution to the fancy of these conspirators and strip Americans not only of their rights, but of their wealth and property as well.

We see the signs that this plan is well underway and well advanced.

In August 2001, William Cooper, a "conspiracy theorist" reported to the subscribers of his newsletter, to neighbors and friends, at a seminar and over the air by his private short wave radio station, that the US government was planning an attack against its own people. This would be a false flag operation as the government would affix blame on a non-participating third party.

William Cooper reported that this operation would probably occur shortly and would consist of apparently commercial airliners being hijacked and flown into significant American landmarks with the deaths of thousands of innocent Americans. Further, he reported that the government would frame Osama Bin Laden to take the blame.

A few days after this announcement, William Cooper was killed in a shootout with Arizona Sheriff's deputies.

Earlier in 2001, a newspaper in India reported that China was proposing to negotiate with Saddam Hussein to purchase a significant amount of Iraq's oil production with the hope of procuring 100%. This newspaper article predicted that the US would have to attack Iraq in order to protect its oil supply.

In Afghanistan, the Afghan government had rebuffed all US proposals to build an oil pipeline across Afghanistan to provide the US with an alternative route for MidEast oil delivery if for some reason the Straits of Hormuz were to be shut down. The Board of Directors of Halliburton considered a proposal to prepare the American people for a war with Afghanistan which would serve the US by permitting an oil pipeline to be built across Afghanistan.

In 2000, the Project for a New American Century (PNAC) prepared a plan to spread the "virtues" of America around the world. These virtues would include American style democracy, American style markets and economics and American style consumer consumption. These "virtues" would be spread even to those nations unwilling to accept such "virtues" by any means necessary including the military option. Accepting this dominance by America would essentially enslave such nations into subservience to the United States.

Founding members of PNAC include important members of the Bush (W) Adminstration: Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz and others. Other members include Dan Quayle, Richard Perle, William Bennett, Steve Forbes and Jeb Bush, to name a few. It is significant to note that many of these members were draft dodgers and deferments - the chicken hawks who glorify war but have never served during war.

Based on this and other, evidence, future directions for the United States can be assessed.

These are in no particular order.

1. A state of martial law must occur in the United States. This would be accompanied by limitations on travel and communications. Prior to this, enhanced "security" measures will slowly desensitize the American public to the infringement of their rights guaranteed to them by the Constitution.

2. An international organization will be established to deal with the threat from an asteroid collision with Earth. This will serve to consolidate military command and control operations across various nations and engender communications and operations between said nation's military forces with each other.

3. Possibly, a state of hyperinflation may occur in the United States. Although this is speculative, what is not is that any end to the recession and a rebound in economic growth will be shortly followed by another economic bust. This may be the excuse to impose martial law. In any case, a period of artificially induced inflation must soon occur.

4. Military organizations from perhaps five other nations will patrol American streets in conjunction with the American military.

5. I hope I am wrong, but in my heart I feel this is inevitable and irreversible: the United States will be destroyed in war. I do not know how, when or by what forces, but the powers that be will sacrifice the nation and people of the United States in order to spread fear and terror across the world. This is so they can then assume control of the world's military, civil and religious organizations "in order to prevent another catastrophic war." "Peace and security" is the phrase the powers that be will use to consolidate their control and power over the world. This will also serve to acquire the world's wealth and place natural resources under their control.

6. A new organization will be established to deal with the threat from aliens or an existing organization will be reconfigured to deal with this threat.

7. Global climate changes and increasing natural disasters and larger and larger and more destructive storms will occur. This is already too far advanced to stop.

8. Strange and new diseases and pandemics will spread across the world. Most of these will be said to be natural in origin but most, if not all, will be human engineered.

9. The time has nearly come (and may be here) for True Believers in Christ to depart the United States. I believe God will soon call or is now calling His people to leave the US or face the destruction that will occur. I do not know of a safe place to go, you must consult God and your own heart. Some ideas may be the American deserts and deep forests, northern Canada, Siberia, the Sahara, the African savanna, central Australia or possibly Baja California. Any industrialized and "civilized" area or nation will experience unprecedented violence, turmoil and oppression. This will probably be accompanied with famine and pandemics.

This is but a simple and off the cuff observation of world affairs. This is all based on a simple reading of news reports and media broadcasts that all people have access to and to which many of us may hear but not listen. In no way do I claim infallibility or divine insight or inspiration. This is all a simple understanding of history and politics.

Holy Rights and National Security

The United States was founded upon the belief that there are certain things that are more important than life.

What is more important than life? Than living?

Some would argue that there is nothing more important than life. This is a common position of some communist ideologues. But even these communist ideologues, when pressed, would agree that their ideology is more important than life.

If life itself were paramount, than all else would fall by the wayside and wars would become meaningless. But life is not paramount and ideology is only one of several factors that are more important than life.

Wars are often fought on the basis of principle. Some of these principles include wealth, power and territory.

In the United States, our founding fathers and our traditions proclaim that human rights, universal democracy, freedom and liberty are all more important than life itself. These are the supposed reasons we are fighting the war in Iraq. If this is not true, then the war in Iraq is a sham, a mockery of the principles upon which America was founded. The war in Iraq would then be a war being fought by the rich and powerful, for the rich and powerful, to protect or to increase their wealth and power.

Whether or not this last statement is true - that the war in Iraq is being fought on bequest of the rich and powerful to maintain or expand their hold on wealth and power - is easily determined by observing the actions of our government in other areas.

If the government shows compassion, caring and attention to the individual rights of the people; to fairness, to peace, to honesty, to integrity, to liberty, to democracy, to freedom; then we can be assured that the government is one in which the Principles of America are a function of the character of the government. But if these principles are excluded in the way the government functions; if we see no or little evidence of such principles in the daily activities and operations of the government, then we can be certain that this administration is one in which only power and wealth have meaning.

Should the administration and the governmental apparatus under its control be found in activities which seek to preserve its wealth, power or security, then the Principles of America are being ignored by those who control the functions of the state. If the administration resorts to torture, renditions, secret detentions, abuse or violation of the rights of any individual foreign or domestic, then the reins of government are held by those who believe only in power and wealth and the maintenance of their own position (security).

The government may claim such actions are necessary to protect national security, but what is "national security"?

If our nation was founded upon the principles of freedom, liberty, human rights and democracy with such rights innate upon each individual, then our nation is dependent upon maintaining and securing (security) these rights and principles for each individual.

Our nation's security (National Security) then is based on the government preserving, maintaining and where and when possible expanding these rights for each person.

If the government fails to do this, it is not acting upon the basis of national security but only on the privilege and prestige of the rich and powerful - of those who lay claim to the functions of government.

Such a position is antithetical to a nation founded upon human rights, democracy, freedom and liberty for all. Such a position cannot be said to be "national security" but only the protection of those who seek to expand their wealth and power.

Is our nation protecting the rights of the individual which is true national security, or is it protecting only the power and riches of a few?

Trash Talking Cheney

Free Medical Clinic

We stand at the threshold of a new world. Indeed, we are already moving forward with one foot inside. And, thus far, it appears we have chosen wisely; the politics of fear have been voted out - although they are not yet gone and the politics of hope and empowerment are upon us- if we only have courage enough to move forward and discard our fears.

The time of trial is not yet over. Dark days remain ahead, but now is the time for us to set aside our fears and focus on that which we desire. Now is the time to transcend animosity and embrace the future for which we yearn. Now is the time to relinquish the story we have been living for the last eight years and begin telling a new story - the story of what we hope for, the story of our hopes and dreams, the story of our joys and love, not the story of trauma, drama and disaster that has been swirling for the last few years.

Now is the time to begin telling a new story. Now is the time to begin visualizing and speaking of the hopes and dreams and the joy, love and laughter we seek and desire for ourselves, our children, our neighbors and our nation; for that which we seek and look to is what will come to pass for us as a nation.

If we can focus on a new story of hope, the story of fear will fade away and jobs will return, hope will be reborn, confidence will rekindle, spending wil increase and the hoarding caused by fear will diminish. If we can begin to tell the story of how we want things to be, rather than how they have been, we will begin to live that story of what could be - a greater, better, brighter future than the past we have just left behind.

The future is upon us. And we must leave the past to the past. As Jesus once said "let the dead bury the dead". What he meant is that we must focus on what could be and not remain trapped in what has been.

Bobby Kennedy once said, "Some people see things as they are and ask why? I see things as they could be, and ask "Why not?" Bobby Kennedy chose to rise above the politics of fear and envision a world of hope, today, we must choose no less.

Legacy of a Loser

The Bush Era comes to an end. With an unnecessary war, the most severe economic downturn since the Great Depression, millions out of work, foreclosures hitting skyrocket territory, ignorance of global warming thoughout most of his term and a myriad of decisions and positions that turned the United States into a mockery of its former self, George Bush represents the worst of what it means to be an American.

From a false flag operation that killed thousands of Americans which led to a false war that killed thousands more, George Bush has followed his game plan brilliantly. Civil liberties no longer exist in this country except with the sufferage of the federal government. Your rights and liberties have already been lost, you retain them only because the government allows you to do so.

An economic downturn which is the worst in some areas of the country since records have been kept is handing over property, cash and future earnings to the central authority. Soon, the vast majority of the wealth of this country, including your home, business, savings, insurance, benefits, etc, will be in the hands of the Federal Reserve which is no more federal than Federal Express. Your financial future will depend solely on the government allowing you to buy and sell, to spend and purchase and to save and invest at its convenience. The ownership of wealth will have all been transferred to the government. Good job, President Bush!

Around the world, respect for the United States has plummeted. George Bush's policy of "shoot first, ask questions later" has alienated most of our allies, further deepened the rifts between the US and our critics and hardened the attitudes of our enemies. My own Strategy of Peace is diametrically opposed to the Bush Doctrine of "shoot, shoot, shoot". We can see the results of the Administration's policy as we survey world nations, a great majority of which have low regard for the US or its current President. Nearly all express hope in the upcoming Obama Presidency.

The US military is strained nearly to the breaking point. With the current economy, recruitment levels should begin rising again, but they had been at their lowest level in many years. Recruiters have been under so much pressure to meet quota that a record number of Army recruiters have committed suicide breaking under the pressure of their demands. Equipment is in need of repair, troops are fatigued and morale is low. From one of the greatest and most powerful military forces in the world, we have squandered the military on a war and policies which should never have been implemented.

President Bush clearly duped the American people into trusting him, but I was under no such illusion, regarding Mr. Bush as the greatest threat to America since Hitler. Able to convince innocents of his religious fervor, Mr. Bush attacked all who opposed him, sending the IRS to investigate churches which spoke against him, leaking false reports and rumors about officials (Colin Powell, Gen. Shinseki, et al) who disagreed with him and otherwise being vindictive and attacking all those who opposed him. I have received reports about members of Congress who - during the anthrax scare shortly after 9/11 - were afraid to oppose Bush on any matter for to do so would result in receiving an anthrax envelope. My own sources tracked the anthrax scare to sources within the US Army to a location near Washington DC. None of these actions sound reminiscent of a man who respects and loves God. Mr. Bush was clearly able to delude and mislead the American people into surrendering their rights by heightening their fear of the bogeyman - international terrorrism and Al Qaeda (which the British Intelligence community claims is a US fabrication).

As Mr Franklin once said: "Anyone who trades liberty for security deserves neither liberty nor security."

Now we turn a new page in American history. A new chapter begins. An African-American will lead us giving hope not only to America but to the rest of the world as well. I am inspired by this fact and encouraged because the dream of long ago - of Martin Luther King - is fulfilled, at least in part. We may have a long way to go in some places of these American states, but at the executive level, the dream is alive and well. I also have hope that the American reputation will be salvaged overseas where it has suffered the greatest damage in the last eight years. But in any case, I have faith in God, that His plan is unfolding and that whatever may happen, all those who truly believe will be protected.

2008 Inflation Estimate

Sorry this is so late. I have no excuse. But for those of you who have been waiting - my inflation projection for 2008 is 4.5% as a target and 4.18% to 5.143% as a narrow range with 3.1% to 6.17% as a broad range.

Again the wide position of the broad range represents the potential for increased volatility in global markets, however this is offset by the relatively narrow spread of the narrow range. This indicates the potential for increased stability in local or national economies. This seems to indicate that the U.S. economy will turn around in some areas over the course of the next 6 to 8 months and recessionary pressure in those areas will ease.

As Americans, we need to ask ourselves which is more important: principles or human life?

America was founded upon certain principles. These principles include rule of law, democracy & liberty, justice, transparency in government and the rights as stipulated in the first 10 Amendments.

It is these principles and rights which make life fulfilling, joyful, fair and worth living. When these principles are sacrificed, life becomes a harsh experience which for some is brutal and short.

The current Administration and policy makers within and without government, the military and think tanks have determined that principles are subordinate to the lives and security of the America in which we have grown up. Yet it is these rights which have made this nation the pinnacle and bright shining light of the world that we as Americans have become accustomed to living in. Therefore, to sacrifice these principles is sacrificing America.

Life is not more important than principles. Life is not more important than security. Life is not more important than freedom, the rule of law or the democracy in which we live. If it was, wars would be meaningless - why fight if life itself is paramount? Instead, principles are more important than life. Democracy is a greater calling than life. The rule of law is more important than living. If we get forget this, then living is meaningless, for it is only these principles which make life worth living. That is why torture in any form is wrong, regardless of the results it may create, because the side effect is so odious.

America is a nation founded upon principles because it is these principles alone which make life worth living. Forgetting that reverts America to the rule of the jungle.

Jones Inflation - Preliminary Year's End Summary

My inflation forecast for 2007 will be off by more than 10% for the first time since 1986. It may be off by as much as half a point by the time we finish the year. This indicates surprise volatility in the political and economic arenas occuring in the last half of the year.

And, as we near years end and data begins flowing into my algorithm, I'm showing a very wide variance in the figures indicating that the coming year could be even more tumultuous. I expect gold to surge upward in price and political and economic landscapes could rock and buck like the deck of a ship in a storm tossed sea.

The current inflation projection for 2008 stands at 3.76 but this figure will certainly change as the year comes to a close and more data becomes available. I try to publish the Jones Inflation Forecast no later than mid February of each year. This provides enough time to acquire the hard figures and data necessary to generate a (more or less) reliable inflation rate for the forthcoming year.

Can the United States Survive the Bush Administration?

With 15 months left in this administration, one's first response would be "Uh, Yeh!" But upon a little deeper reflection, one might be tempted to say, "Well, I hope so."

However, my gut impression as I write this is: "Probably not." Logic would indicate 'yes' but my gut says 'no.'

I do have several questions regarding the current state of affairs of the American experiment.

Has American military power been enhanced during the Bush dictatorship?

Have the rights and liberties of the people been strengthened or enhanced during this period?

Has American prestige around the world been strengthened?

Has the reputation of America been uplifted internationally?

Is America safer today than at the beginning of the Bush dictatorship?

Has honesty and truth in government increased?

Has the collective voice and will of the people been heard, respected and acted upon?

Has the safety of the individual citizen been increased or enhanced?

Are we better off today than at the beginning of this nightmare?

Does the administration care about the opinions or wishes of the American people?

My answer to all of the above questions is "No!"

To the following questions I would respond "Yes."

Has the insecurity of the American people been increased?

Have the civil liberties of the American people been diminished while more power and wealth has accrued to a few?

Has torture, the loss of freedom in America, wars without justification with the killing of our innocent soldiers and the spying of and kidnapping of those speaking out against such or other crimes become a way of life for the Bushes and those in power?

Do you feel the President believes he can lie, cheat and steal and get away with anything, all at the expense of the people, our nation, our liberties, our freedoms and the Constitution?

Has military power degraded and stretched almost to the breaking point?

Has our national budget gone from a 200 billion surplus to an additional over 2 trillion dollars in debt?

And one final question: Has political power moved more toward a few wealthy powerful individuals or more toward the concept of the Founding Fathers as articulated by Abraham Lincoln "of the people, by the people, for the people?"

The American Use of Torture

George Bush today defended his administration's policy of using torture* - which he says isn't torture but rather extreme interrogation techniques including pain-inducing methods - to obtain information from those suspected of terrrorism or connected to terrorism or otherwise targeted by the Bush Administration.

This comes as a result of the recent release of a Treasury Department memo dated from early 2005 authorizing the use of such techniques after the White House denounced the use of such methods in late 2004.

The President said the American people expect the government to protect them from terrorism inferring that the American people had authorized all and every method to obtain any useful or useless information even if that method included torture or was applied against innocent civilians.

America was not founded upon the concept of applying pain to prisoners. We did not come to be the most respected and admired nation in the nation by using torture. We did not come to be perceived as that "shining light on the hill" if that light is lit by lamps from torture chambers and illegal prisons.

The use of torture, illegal kidnapping (renditions), unconstitutional wiretaps, illegal mail opening and other such techniques were once the domain solely of such nefarious nations as Red China, Communist Cuba, Pol Pot's Cambodia, the Soviet Union or Nazi Germany. Now this Administration has pushed the United States into this nether group of nations. Is it any wonder then, that people and nations around the world have come to disrespect the United States, to find it abhorrent and evil, a pariah among nations? Is it any wonder that people harbor acrimony and disgust with the actions of the United States government? Is it wonder that the actions of the Bush Administration are met with contempt and condemnation both at home and abroad?

The people of the United States expect the government to keep them safe, but not at the expense of their liberties. We expect the government to protect us from evil abroad, but not by practicing that same evil. We expect the government to thoroughly investigate those who would harm us, but not by harming others. We demand the goverment to protect us from our enemies, but not by becoming the enemy. George Bush and those within and without this Administration who wield the reins of power claim they know the thoughts of the American people, but all they really know is how to consolidate that power and wield it across all peoples at the expense of all people. All they really know how to do is to crush those who oppose their power - whether at home or abroad.

The actions of this Administration have undermined the security and reputation of the United States more than any Administration in history. Our military is in shambles, violent crime is rebounding, and the people of this nation feel we are off track. We have ceased to be a great nation because of what this Administration has done. We can do more, we can better, but only if great leaders step forward who are not afraid to act, who are not afraid to expose the secrets this Administration keeps hidden, who are courageous enough to act and speak when others cower.

We can do more and we can do better. But it is up to you. Speak the truth, act boldly, speak your conscience. There is no law against the truth. There is no law against love. America has been and will be again the greatest nation amongst all nations of Earth. Of that, I have no doubt.

My estimate for the rate of inflation for 2007 is 3.18%.

I am showing a narrow range of 2.927 to 3.50, a large difference from last year when the narrow range was much wider due to instability in the world economy. The broad range is 1.35 to 4.43. This is also less volatile than 2006 indicating that much of the volatility of 2006 has bled out of the economy. Only time will tell of course.

Coming of the "Nightmare Scenario"

If my understanding of politics is accurate, then the President revealed his hand during the State of the Union address of January 23, 2007.

This President's only ambition is to consolidate his power and to secure the advance of the agenda of those who brought him to be elected to the highest office of the land.

President Bush's policy of doublespeak is well-employed during this address and leaves us wondering why his call to arms of his supporters, friends and cronies was so clearly articulated.

The President stated his strategy of unleashing the "Nightmare Scenario". This would be the spread of the cycle of violence and destruction across all of Iraq which today is predominantly restricted to Baghdad and Anbar province. As the violence escalates, which the introduction of 12% more American troops seems planned to do, Iran and Syria would increase their influence over the region throwing the entire MidEast into chaos, violence, destruction, war and death.

That is what the President plans.

With this spreading violence, at some point the President will stage a war against Iran furthering his agenda and that of his covert supporters. With the MidEast devolving into war, tension will increase worldwide. The U.S. and allies may be forced to intervene to protect their supplies of oil. Other great powers may be led to counter these actions leading to the outbreak of a world war - World War 3.

Although this represents only one possibility of what this President intends - and the consequences of his actions - it is, in my opinion - the most likely possibility. A lesser possibility is that the entire MidEast will be embroiled in a large, regional war.

In any case, the President has clearly stated his objective to unleash the "Nightmare Scenario". He has clearly stated that the lives of Americans are expendable in pursuit of his "Nightmare Scenario." He has stated that he will not allow his conscience or the wishes or desires of Congress or the American people to interfere or contravert his plan. He has stated that he has set his resolve to move forward with this plan and that he will not abandon his friends - those who brought him into power. For this plan is their plan. The Nightmare Scenario will be unleashed - and we all will suffer.

Bush's Plan for Failure

The "New Way Forward" strategy announced by President Bush on Wednesday night sounds less like a new way forward than it does like more of the same.

Sending an additional 21,500 troops into Iraq represents an increase of less than 12% of the total Coalition forces currently present in Iraq. This seems to indicate that the increase is not about reducing the level of violence in Baghdad, but rather to inflame it. An increase of 21,500 is not enough force to make a difference on the ground, unless these troops are superbly and masterfully positioned and utilized according to the highest standards of military strategy. But this President is no student of military strategy much less a master of it.

This surge is an indication of the President's objectives - not to give peace a chance, but rather to create more war, more violence and fan hatred, not only in the MidEast, but also in the streets of America. With such conditions, the President can then claim greater power over the American people by enacting legislation providing the Administration with additional police powers thus nudging the American Republic further into totalitarianism.

Thus, to summarize, two possibilities are apparent:

1. If these surge troops are strategically deployed and precisely utilized the level of violence in Iraq will decrease over the next six months.

Or,

2. The surge of troops is intended to increase the level of violence in Iraq and the Mideast, create greater strife and tension in the homes and streets of the US thereby allowing the Administration to force through legislation granting it greater control over the American people and further eroding the rights, freedoms and liberties we cherish.

Even if the best scenario develops, unfortunate effects will occur in the US. Every long war is destructive to a democracy increasing the powers of the state, consolidating its power over the people and reducing the people's ability to exercise their rights and enjoy their liberties. Every long war reduces the people's rights while redistributing power and wealth to the government and those who hold the reins of power.

Even if the best occurs in Iraq, the American people will suffer, seeing greater intrusions upon their freedoms and reduced ability for the average person to achieve the American Dream.

Ken Starr reopened the Clinton investigation and Clinton was subsequently impeached on the charges stemming from Ken Starr's reopened investigation. It was from a posting here in May of 2000 that I first heard about a projected airliner attack against US targets of civil importance while "true" targets (militarily significant or true-destruction-capable targets - targets that would kill many thousands or even millions) would be avoided. A couple of months later in a newspaper published in India, I was reading about how the recently elected US Administration (George Bush) would have to convince the American people to initiate a war against Iraq in order to prevent the oilfields from falling under Chinese control. I can see how controlling the oilfields helps the US maintain the balance of power over China, but am uncertain if the attack into Iraq was initiated for this reason. Impeach Bush

A new signing statement the President has signed allows him the authority to open mail without a warrant. The citizens of the US voted against these types of authoritarian methods in November, but apparently the President didn't get the message.

In November, we also sent a message that the war in Iraq must end as quickly as possible and that the troops must be brought home quickly. The President is now telling us that the message he received is that victory must come at any cost.

This isn't what the November elections were about.

The November elections were about change. We want to change the path of the war in Iraq. We want to change the path of power at the expense of our rights that the White House is taking. We want a path to peace. We want a path of liberty, prosperity and a green, healthy planet. But the President disagrees. And he will continue to do so for as long as he is President.

The time has come to impeach George Bush. We now have the power we need to do so vested in the members of a new Congress. We have given them a mandate to change the path of this country and the President refuses to ackowledge these changes. He refuses to seek a new path.

President Bush doesn't get it. President Bush must go!

The time to impeach President Bush has come. The 110th Congress can do it. We must let them know they must do so.

The Gravest Threat

The gravest threat to America is not terrorism. The most serious threat to America today is not the safety or security of American citizens.

The gravest threat to America today is the loss of American freedoms and liberties and the accumulation of power into the hands of those who hold the reins of state.

Our Founding Fathers recognized that the greatest enemy to our republic would come not from external enemies no matter how dire, but rather from our own government. Thus they created a Constitution of checks and balances which would limit the redistribution of power into the federal government. Today these checks and balances which have served us so well for over 200 years are evaporating.

Our Founding Fathers also recognized that central banking would lead to the redistribution of wealth into the hands of the few and the byproduct would be destitution and economic slavery for the average American. They reflected this observation in the Constitution which proscribes a central banking system. Yet today we have the Federal Reserve - a private corporation owned by a few major banks from which the federal government borrows money and pays interest on that money which it alone has the authority to make.

The Founding Fathers understood that the tendency of government is to grow in an imperial fashion with wealth and power redistributing to those who control the functions and apparatus of the state at the expense and degradation of every citizen not a member of this imperial cabal.

But now we have the Patriot Act, the Military Commissions Act, signing statements and the perpetual, losing war against terrorism.

These acts are not designed to protect American lives nor to preserve American freedoms. Their only function is to strip Americans of their wealth and freedoms so that power and wealth may be more easily distributed to the rich and powerful. These people include George Bush, Dick Cheney, Don Rumsfeld, David Rockefeller, Henry Kissinger and the Clintons.

We face a crossroads in America. We stand upon the threshold of tomorrow. Down one path leads to a decline in America; unrelenting war, economic crisis, environmental disaster, increasing crime and a Big Brother police state in which the individual is reduced to economic slavery and cannon fodder for those in power.

Down the second path stands a new glory for America. Here there is a positive America where fortune and prosperity are available for all. Down this second path is an America in which freedoms, rights, liberty and happiness are not only the hope, but also the fulfillment of every individual, not the exception.

Down this second path, America is great once again. We once again become a bright shining light for all. The principles which made America great can make America great again.

The decision is upon us. The paths are clear. The choice is open. All we must do is choose. Choose the path of freedom. Choose the path of hope. Do not choose the path of slavery, hatred and fear. The choice is yours. Choose wisely.

The Darkest Day in American History

Those who died on September 11, 2001, have died for nothing. Their deaths have been in vain. Our sons and daughters killed on countless battlefields in numerous wars have also died in vain.

Today, October 17, 2006, President Bush signed into law the Military Commissions Act of 2006 which suspends civil liberties and effectively terminates the U.S. Constitution. This legislation makes a mockery of all those who have died. Passed by a Congress replete with corruption, as ineffective as any in history, beholden to special interests, as partisan and as woefully wrong as any Congress in history, this law turns a great nation small and a strong nation weak.

With this law, The United States loses its status as a shining beacon of hope, principles and liberty and instead becomes a tomb to those principles which have been lost, to those hopes which have perished and those cherished ideals which the world has long admired as a model for all the world.

The principles, rights and the very notion of liberty which our Founding Fathers advanced, to which they pledged their lives and sacred honor, fought for and died for, and which guns, tanks, bullets, riots against discrimination, ill-fated wars and corruption throughout federal government been unable to destroy have all been lost with the stroke of a pen.

During the Constitutional Convention of 1787, a young woman asked Benjamin Franklin what kind of government we would have. Benjamin Franklin responded, "A Republic, if we can keep it." Today, October 17, 2006, that Republic has been lost. We have been unable to keep it.

The Darkest Day in American History was not Decemner 7, 1941. It was not November 22, 1963, nor any other date from over 200 years of the democratic experiment. The Darkest Day in American History is today - October 17, 2006, when at the stroke of a pen by a power-mad President, everything Americans have lived for, fought for and died for has been lost. The American Fascist State has been born. The American Democratic State has died. May God forgive us for what we have done.

February 28, 1933 All Over Again

On February 28, 1933 a law in Nazi Germany was signed which suspended civil liberties guaranteed by the Constitution. This law; "The Decree for the Protection of the People and the State" rings suspisciously like the laws passed by the Bush Administration.

President Bush brings into law laws which advance the totalitarian powers of the government. The most recent law "The Military Commissions Act of 2006" suspends our right of habeas corpus which guarantees every citizen the reason why they are being jailed.

Without this fundamental right, much of the power of our other rights guaranteed to us by the Constitution are reduced or eradicated.

President Bush has optimized the situation of international terrorism and world insecurity to nullify those things which made America great; our principles.

Every act President Bush makes reduces America and weakens us. Every word he speaks helps to turn more of the Constitution into dust. Only truth can prevail over the powers of darkness. "When deceit reigns, truth is a revolutionary concept." Only love can win victory over hate.

The path America is advancing on will only weaken America. The steps we are taking only strengthen our enemies. The actions we are taking only spread discord around the world. In coming years, will we see the United States as a "has-been" nation, its greatest moments lying in the past? Will we find ourselves in a war against another great power which leaves the United States morally, financially and spiritualy bankrupt? Will we as loyal patriots of the greatest nation that has ever been allow this to occur?

We must not allow this to continue. The time has come when we must not only stand up for what is right, we must speak out for what is wrong.

Do what you think is right. But do something, for the time is late.

Bush's ever-changing rationale for the war in Iraq is a sure indication that the Real reason lies hidden and remains hidden. Bush keeps changing his story about why we went to war in Iraq and he continues to paint a glossy picture about the substance of the war. We must not allow ourselves to be deceived by a master deceiver.

A hidden agenda is at work. What that hidden agenda is we may never know. It may simply be for Bush and his cronies and those who brought him to power - the Kissinger's and Rockefeller's of the world - to amass more power and wealth at the expense of the lives of our sons and daughters and or it could be to weaken America in order to allow another great power to achieve world dominance.

Whatever the real story may be, the war in Iraq will continue for as long as the President is receiving some sort of benefit from it. As soon as the benefits cease, so will the war.

Second Thoughts on the Anti-Christ

The writings of Hippolytus which I have mentioned previously indicate that the Anti-Christ will head a democracy which is the eighth member of a group of 8 democracies.

Alphabetically this would be the United States, however Russia was the eighth country to join the G8. Therefore, Vladimir Putin could be the Anti-Christ.

In addition, the Anti-Christ would be the one to bring peace to a war-ravaged world. President Bush seems to be the person who is starting wars around the world, not the person to bring peace. This further suggests that President Bush is the person who will herald the Anti-Christ, not the Anti-Christ himself.

Finally, Hippolytus and Iraeneus indicate that the first military action of the Anti-Christ would be a strike against Lebanon, which has just occurred, not attacks against Afghanistan or Iraq. Next would come attacks against Ethiopia, Egypt and Libya. As of Oct 9, 2006, Islamic militants have declared jihad against Ethiopia, a further sign that the Anti-Christ may be someone other than George Bush.

Militant Islam would then seem to be the vehicle the Anti-Christ may use to achieve his rise to power, albeit covertly. Working from behind the scenes he will start the wars mentioned above. Later, he will step out from the shadows and bring peace to a war weary world, but probably not as a leader of Islam. The entire world will praise him for ending these wars which he himself had started. People everywhere will respect and admire him for his charisma and graciousness, for his apparent gentle strength and his ability to bring peace where all others have failed.

Are School Shootings a Ploy to Ban Guns?

The recent spate of school shootings in American schools is a tragedy. Yet it will be a greater tragedy if we allow these horrific events to suspend one of our greatest rights - the right to keep and bear arms.

There is no current evidence to suggest that these events are in any way related, except perhaps as a result of copycats, nor that they are in any way being controlled or manipulated into being by covert sources. But they could be.

In any case, the greatest tragedy would be allow the Bush Administration to take the next step - to suspend our right to keep and bear arms.

This may be what they intend. Time will tell.

Conduct of the War in Iraq

The Anti-Christ - A Short Description

According to the tradition passed down by the Apostle John and related to and corroborated by his students Polycarp, Irenaeus and Hippolytus, the Anti-Christ will be a hugely popular, very charismatic individual hailed as a great peacemaker. (Note 1)

Leader of the world's democracies, he will also head or be an influential member of a group of 8 of these democracies. (Note 2)

President of a nation considered by some to be the New Roman Empire because of its unsurpassed global military strength, the worldwide influence of its culture and the world dominance of its economy, he will come to world prominence due to his actions in the MidEast. (Note 3)

Initially, he will work from behind the scenes and cause a military strike against Lebanon with attacks against Tyre and Beirut. (Note 4) (Note 5)

He will initiate wars against 3 nations (possibly all in the Mideast) in sequential order with the intent of conquering or destroying them. (Note 6) (Note 7)

The Anti-Christ will grow in power using his influence to eventually usher in a worldwide common currency and a unified world government. (Note 8) I have not located any references in the writings of the above 4 men to indicate anything about a one world religion.

The Anti-Christ will persuade people to willingly relinquish their rights in exchange for safety and security of their person. He will force through laws which change other laws enabling him to accrue power to himself and institute a change in time while exempting himself from the law. (Note 9) (Note 10)

Although working primarily from behind the scenes, he will be recognized by true believers (Note 11), while God causes those who are not true believers to experience a delusion which convinces them that this is a world leader who is a peacable, God-fearing, good-natured, but tough humanitarian who has only the best interests of his nation and people at heart. A Few Thoughts and Observations

Torture is wrong, regardless of where it occurs, regardless of who does it or why and regardless of whom it is done to.

Anonymity and privacy are paramount in a democracy. When the citizens feel their government is watching their every move and listening to their every statement, this will tend to stifle dissent and freedom of expression which are overarching values of a democracy.

You cannot end tyranny in the world by acting tyrannically.

You cannot extend democracy into the world by limiting it at home.

You cannot speak for open and accountable government throughout the world and then deny it at home.

You cannot advance liberty and then suppress it within your own borders.

The enhanced security at airports seems less designed to secure against terrorists and more designed to control the traveling public, to increase their inconvenience in traveling so they will travel less (making them easier to track and control), and get the public more accustomed to intrusions by the government into their private affairs.

As an observer of human events and the human experience I have discovered many patterns. From these patterns I have established several hypotheses. Of these hypotheses I have tested them and found most to be accurate from 90 to 95% of the time. As such they then constitute a theory.

Therefore, from the pattern I have discerned from observing the war on terrorism I present the following postulate:

The objective of terrorism seems not to destroy the United States but rather to increase the totalitarian powers of this Administration and/or the forces behind the government.

If we use this as our postulate, then the whole war on terrorism suddenly makes sense and we can see that this objective is succeeding.

Therefore, it seems predictable that events will occur to enhance the totalitarian powers of this Administration, whether it is by terrorist action, incessant war in the Mideast or some other activity or by some combination of these. Should these activites fail and the American public refuses to relinquish their rights in a timely fashion, then a war with China may be scheduled.

America will cease to be America if America accepts torture as a tool it can use.

America will cease to be America if we allow our President to tap into our phone conversations and read our email without oversight by the public.

America will cease to be America if we abrogate the rule of law, especially by the President, in order to enhance the security of the "state" (those who run the appratus of the state).

America will cease to be America if we cease to be good.

A long war has never benefitted a democracy.

Most people are unwilling to accept the whole truth. Most people only accept a partial truth - a small truth - only that amount which fits within their comfort zone. All people accept only that truth which fits into their belief system - their personal ideology. If it doesn't fit, most people will have one or more of these reactions: they will ignore it. They will seek to suppress it. They will malign it. They will vilify it. They will ridicule it. They will seek to destroy it. We can see then, that truth has many obstacles to overcome before it is accepted by most people. Those people who accept more truth must, almost by definition, be ignored, suppressed, maligned, vilified, ridiculed or destroyed by those who perceive a lesser truth. They who witness a greater truth perceive a wider and far different reality than those whose experience of truth is less.

We cannot defeat the enemy by becoming the enemy. To do so will allow the enemy to have won, regardless of what happens on the battlefield.

History reveals that the gravest threat to democracy has always been not from external enemies, but from internal parties who seek to extend security and wealth and power for themselves at the expense of liberty.

You Work For Me!
An Open Letter to President Bush

Mr. President, you work for me. I am your boss. You are my employee. You work for me.

Your continued employment is only by favor of your employer and your performance is - wanting.

You work for me. You work for we the people. Perhaps this is something you have forgotten, or maybe it's something you never understood. We are one nation under God; of the people, by the people, for the people. Those who choose public service and those we elect to governmental positions are Servants of The People. You work for me. You work for we the people.

As your employer, your job performance must improve markedly and must improve immediately.

We all know the areas in which you are failing: the war in Iraq, Abu Ghraib, Guantanamo Bay, illegal wiretaps and liberty at home, Katrina, the environment, gas prices.

I have listened to your reasoning and considered your conclusions. Essentially, it is all immaterial; you work for me!

If we were to look at this nation as a corporation, we can see that what you say and what you do are dichotomous. You are creating dissension within the ranks of the "work force" setting one group against another. You are spending money with no appreciable gain for the corporation (country) except - possibly - to line your own pockets and those of your friends.

You are tapping our phone calls, reading our email and even reviewing the books we check out at the library supposedly to watch for some bogeyman terrorist but I suspect it's all just to keep tabs on those who disagree with you and when the time is right to even the score against them.

As Chairman of the Board of We the People, I observe that these actions are having negative effects on the organization, on our money and on our morale. You have scared us in order to wring concessions from us most likely to accrue more wealth and power for yourself and friends.

You are draining the company (country) of its ability to function effectively. I cannot allow this to continue.

As your boss, you must do as I request. You must either move or be removed.

If you move, there are only 2 ways you can move. 1. You can move to do as I ask, or 2. You can move yourself out of office. If you do neither, then you leave me, as your employer, no other choice, you shall be removed. And you will need to find yourself another job. Either get going or get out.

Mr. Cheney, your performance is below par. And has been all along. As the chief trumpet for this Administration I hold you chiefly responsible for all that has gone wrong. Your actions have been despicable. Your pockets and Halliburton and those of your friends are lined with my money. Mr. Cheney, if it were up to me, your time has come, You're fired!

Mr. Rumsfeld. You've presided over a war in which our sons and daughters, our husbands and wives, our brothers and sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends and neighbors are dead and dying - day by day.

There were no weapons of mass destruction, there was no link to terrorism. You planned a war which may not be won, with too few troops to win it. The strategy and tactics you required to be followed only strengthened our enemies while weakening our military.

You said mistakes have been made, you're right, you made them.

Mr. Rumsfeld, I am your boss. You work for me. Your opinions make no difference to me. Either do as I ask or move on down the road.

The time has come when we must stand up for what is right and we must speak out for what is wrong. We know what is wrong. We know who is doing it.

Mr. President, Vice President Cheney, Secretary Rumsfeld. You work for me. I am your boss. You are my employee. The time has come to do what I ask and get going, or get gone.

Mr. President, if we should have this conversation again, I won't be saying "You work for me!", I'll say, "Mr. President, you're fired!"

The Mind Matter Connection
A Short Treatise on the New Physics

50% of the information received by our eyes is filtered out by our brains and never reaches our everyday conscious mind. Although there has been speculation as to why, I feel the best answer is simply that of information overload. The conscious mind simply cannot handle the vast amount of data perceived by our 5 senses. If our conscious mind were to accept all the data our senses perceive, we would succumb to sensory overload resulting in a failure of our systems to function - a type of coma.

Up to another 10% of information received is filtered out because of our worldview. These are our beliefs about reality and the world and how things are and the way things work.

An additional 10% of information is further filtered because of our personal belief systems. This is how we believe we function in the world and our role and interactions with it.

The average person has between 50% to 70% of the information they receive from their senses - primarily the eyes - bypassing our conscious mind and going directly to our subconcious. This information becomes dreams or nightmares and is added to our unconscious states of unfulfilled desires.

This leads to a schism in that which we want and that which we believe we can have. This schism leads to an ever-widening chasm in our conscious states which leads to changes in our states of hope and health and has direct impact on depression, alcohol and drug use, health and cancer, accidents and injuries, our attitudes, personal relationships and our social interactions.

People who have expansive worldviews and open opinions about themselves may receive as much as 80% of the information which their senses receive. Those who favor a more restricted worldview and maintain narrow opinions may deny themselves as much as 70% to 80% of the world's reality.

An example of these states within ourselves (and those with whom we cohabitate) may be when we look for lost keys. We may tear the house apart looking for those keys but they are nowhere to be found. Then when we have nearly exhausted our search we suddenly find them - often in a place we have previously looked!

It is not that the keys have suddenly materialized (but in the New Physics that's a possibility, see Note below), but rather that the inexactness of our conscious state caused our brains to make an error and filter out the perception of our keys from a location where they were. The keys were always there, we just didn't see them.

These realities also affect our relationships and interactions with other people. We can get into discussions and conversations, observe some bit of information on the news or read about it on the net or a magazine and - even agree to it or accept it as a valid statement when said - but when asked about it later or trying to recall that information at a later time - we will deny such an observation or memory. We are not lying. It is just that the inexactness of these states has subsequently filtered out information that does not fit in comfortably with our previously held worldviews and personal belief states.

Now when a spouse or loved one agrees to something and then denies they ever agreed to something so outrageous, just remember it is just their belief state and not them talking.

Paradoxes Of the Bush Administration

He speaks of peace but plans for war. He speaks of democracy but denies it at home. He calls for sacrifice then cuts taxes for the rich. He passes laws then excludes himself from those very laws. He called for a war on terror then attacked a nation which had nothing to do with terrorism. He called for a quick end to the war then sent in too few troops to finish the job, needlessly and recklessly exposing our troops to greater danger. He asks for international cooperation but acts unilaterally. Is every word he speaks a lie? Is every action he takes a deception? Is every move hiding the truth?

The New Fascism

Today Donald Rumsfeld stated that the critics of the Administration's policies regarding the war in Iraq and the war on terrorism were misguided and confused. Mr. Rumsfeld claims that a new threat of fascism threatens America.

In this regard, Mr. Rumsfeld is correct. A new era of fascism is indeed abrew in the world. This fascism threatens to destroy democracy and liberty and the rights we as free people have fought countless wars, spilled gallons of blood and shed interminable tears to preserve.

But it is not world terrorism from which this threat of fascism derives. Rather, it is the power mongers, the greedy industrial executives and the modern "land barons" from whom this threat stems.

All we need to do to determine the truth of this hypothesis is to follow the money trail and we will see that this path leads us straight to the streets of America, past the avenues of New York and the monuments of Washington and into the cloistered chambers of the White House, the ivory towers of academia and the soaring towers of urbania.

Mr. Rumsfeld understands this threat clearly as do Vice President Cheney and President Bush. If not the creators of this fascism, they are clearly in league with those who are. This Administration paints the world in black and white - either you support the Administration and its growing totalitarian powers or you are labeled a terrorist.

But liberty is not painted in black and white. Democracy is a multitude of color like flowers in a field - crimson, gold, violet, aquamarine, vermillion, tangerine. Democracy is not a regimented formation of troops marching in lockstep, it is children playing.

Democracy is not destroyed buildings and clouds of smoke from burning pyres, snipers on rooftops or children with crushed bodies lying dead in the street. Democracy is lovers walking hand in hand along a beach, young adults dancing at a nightclub with flashing lights and battering sound, a jazz band in New Orleans, a poetry slam at a coffee shop in Portland, strangers donating blood at the Red Cross and volunteers at an animal shelter.

Liberty cannot be ordered or predicted. Democracy is colors and sound and children and dancing. It is meant to be lived to the fullest extent of our spirit. It is meant to be lived with the full experience of our heart. It can only be understaood at the level of our soul and it can only be fully appreciated at the spiritual level of our being. This Administration does not understand that. We, who are the rest of America, do.

Lebanon - First Battle of the Anti-Christ?

Lebanon - First Battle of the Anti-Christ?

To understand how the Israeli assault into Lebanon may be the first battle of the Anti-Christ we need to go back to the Original Teachings in the first and second centuries AD.

Hippolytus, a student of Irenaeus who had been a student of Polycarp who studied under the tutelage of the Apostle John;

Each of these men agreed that there was but one interpretation of the Holy Scriptures and that the vast majority of the Holy Scriptures consisted of Oral History which would be passed down from generation to generation.

The written portion of the Holy Scriptures - which we today call "the Bible" was only a very small portion of the total Scriptures and was to be used in conjunction with the oral portion, first as a check and balance of the oral to ensure the untainted version and nonvariance of the oral and secondly, to fill out the oral with additional detail.

Hippolytus, writing in the second century AD, in his treatise, Treatise on Christ and AntiChrist, states that the 10 toes of Daniel's dream (Daniel 7) and the 10 kingdoms of John's Revelation are one and the same, and that they refer not to 10 nations, but rather to a form of government.

The form of government Hippolytus refers to is democracy.

We think of democracy as a modern invention, but we forget that democracy is nearly as old as history itself.

Rome, prior to its transformation into an empire, was founded as a democracy - the Republic of Rome in about 750 BC.

The Greek city states, of which Athens is perhaps the most memorable, were also democracies.

The AntiChrist will rise to power in the MidEast. This does not necessarily mean he will be president or dictator or governor or king of any Middle Eastern nation. Rather, his rise to power and world notoriety will be a result of his actions in the MidEast.

In his treatise, Hippolytus states the the first strike of the Anti-Christ will be against Tyre and Beirut (Lebanon) - an attack of which has just occured. Next, the Anti-Christ will turn his attention to 3 democracies and conquer them, leaving himself as leader of the world's democracies.

The Anti-Christ will not reveal himself until he has conquered these other nations and stands in The Temple of Israel. Thus, events will be long advanced before we of human descent can claim any certainty as to the Anti-Christ's identity.

Until his unveiling, the Anti-Christ will work behind the scenes, preferring to consolidate his power, manipulating circumstances to his favor.

Are we now living in the End Times? Has the first assault occurred? Only God knows. And men may speculate.

When Power Fades, Use Fear and the Aug. 10 London Terrorism Plot

The recent loss by a pro-war, pro-Bush Democrat in Connecticut must have been more unsettling to the Bush Administration than has been revealed publicly.

To counter this loss and reinforce the notion that the US is still at war and that only the Republicans are able to handle this crisis, the Bush Administration has concocted a terrorism plot in London involving liquids aboard airliners bound for the USA.

The level of terror is now at red across the US and people have shifted their focus away from the the loss by Liebermann in Connecticut to the White House and to how this Administration can "protect us" from "those" terrorists.

This should give the Bush regime a much needed upward bump in some of the poll ratings.

Israel & Lebanon:Chess Pieces in Play

The current Israeli incursion into Lebanon seems to be no more than an orchestrated set-up to allow for the preposition of forces prior to the next stage of the game.

This preposition of forces may be to allow UN forces to patrol southern Lebanon or to allow Russian forces into Lebanon.

In either case, the buildup of US power and influence in the Mideast seems determined, persistent and on-track. Now the US itself may decide to preposition troops in southern Lebanon as it already does along the border of Egypt and Israel.

The de facto US occupation of the Mideast seems on course. Is this designed to encourage a Chinese military strike in future years? We shall see.

Holy Rights & National Security

The United States was founded upon the belief that there are certain things that are more important than life.

What is more important than life? Than living?

Some would argue that there is nothing more important than life. This is a common position of some communist ideologues. But even these communist ideologues, when pressed, would agree that their ideology is more important than life.

If life itself were paramount, than all else would fall by the wayside and wars would become meaningless. But life is not paramount and ideology is only one of several factors that are more important than life.

Wars are often fought on the basis of principle. Some of these principles include wealth, power and territory.

In the United States, our founding fathers and our traditions proclaim that human rights, universal democracy, freedom and liberty are all more important than life itself. These are the supposed reasons we are fighting the war in Iraq. If this is not true, then the war in Iraq is a sham, a mockery of the principles upon which America was founded. The war in Iraq would then be a war being fought by the rich and powerful, for the rich and powerful, to protect or to increase their wealth and power.

Whether or not this last statement is true - that the war in Iraq is being fought on bequest of the rich and powerful to maintain or expand their hold on wealth and power - is easily determined by observing the actions of our government in other areas.

If the government shows compassion, caring and attention to the individual rights of the people; to fairness, to peace, to honesty, to integrity, to liberty, to democracy, to freedom; then we can be assured that the government is one in which the Principles of America are a function of the character of the government. But if these principles are excluded in the way the government functions; if we see no or little evidence of such principles in the daily activities and operations of the government, then we can be certain that this administration is one in which only power and wealth have meaning.

Should this administration and the governmental apparatus under its control be found in activities which seek to preserve its wealth, power or security, then the Principles of America are being ignored by those who control the functions of the state. If this administration resorts to torture, secret detentions, abuse or violation of the rights of any individual foreign or domestic, then the reins of government are held by those who believe only in power and wealth and the maintenance of their own position (security).

The government may claim such actions are necessary to protect national security, but what is "national security"?

If our nation was founded upon the principles of freedom, liberty, human rights and democracy with such rights innate upon each individual, then our nation is dependent upon maintaining and securing (security) these rights and principles for each individual.

Our nation's security (National Security) then is based on the government preserving, maintaining and where and when possible expanding these rights for each person.

If the government fails to do this, it is not acting upon the basis of national security but only on the privilege and prestige of the rich and powerful - of those who lay claim to the functions of government.

Such a position is antithetical to a nation founded upon human rights, democracy, freedom and liberty for all. Such a position cannot be said to be "national security" but only the protection of those who seek to expand their wealth and power.

Is our nation protecting the rights of the individual which is true national security, or is it protecting only the power and riches of a few?

2006 Inflation Projection

Jones Inflation Estimate for 2006

Using an algorithm I developed approximately 1986, I have prepared an estimate for the 2006 rate of inflation.

I'm projecting a target rate of inflation of 2.45%. Of course, this will depend on vagaries in the economy and world economic-political developments.

This year my algorithm has disclosed a broad range of .67 to 5.74, (first time ever for such a broad range) although the target range remains essentially unchanged at 2.124 to 2.545.

This years' broad range indicates an underlying instability in the world economic and geopolitical situation. Continuing restructuring in the industrialized nations, continuing prospects for war, mass layoffs in the United States, fluctuations in commodities, oil prices and gold prices all converge at this point in history to present the widest range in inflation estimates to date.

As usual, only time will tell, but my estimated rate has been accurate every year within 1/10 of a percent since 1986 when I developed this algorithm.

To Lie, To Cheat, To Steal

The State of the Union Address has come and gone. Nothing new was stated, nothing new has been done, it's all just the same old same old. Pretty much par for this Administration, the worst since Carter.

Mr. Bush continues to lie at every chance he gets while Cheney and Rumsfeld and others contnue to cheat and steal. Lie, cheat and steal seems to be the mantra of this Administration and those who speak the truth are vilified, denounced and mocked. Never has there been an Administration as evil or as vindictive as this Bush Administration.

The Rush for War

Several months before Bush was elected, my sources reported to me that a decision had been made to invade Iraq. Only the confirmation of Bush by the American people would be needed to cement and implement this decision.

On the run up to war, Bush and his cronies in the White House selected only those intelligence estimates which supported their views, dismissing the majority of reports which indicated that there was no evidence of weapons of mass destruction, that the Iraqi people would turn on American soldiers and that the presence of American forces would serve as a lightning rod for Muslims throughout the region.

Under orders from his handlers - which include Cheney - Bush made the case for war and committed the American nation to a war solely to line the pockets of those who brought Bush into power.

Our sons and daughters are dying for no other reasons than oil and money and power. Perhaps the oldest reasons in history. Bush can find no money for the poor, but he can find billions to fight a war he initiated, the money of which circles around into the coffers of such organizations as Halliburton and others.

We think terrorists attacked the World Trade Center, but 5 months before the attack my sources insisted that a major disaster of just such a nature was far advanced in planning by the DC gang and orders transmitted from Washington to Saudi Arabia and finally northward into the deserts and mountains of Afghanistan and Pakistan.

I read a report in May of 2001 of how the US had to convince the American people to invade the nations of the Mideast in order to protect powerful American interests from losing the oil fields to others. A probable course was to initiate an attack upon esteemed American institutions in order to rally the American people around the President while he simultaneously stripped those same people of their liberty and their rights.

We have seen how effective this tactic was. The President and his handlers achieved everything they wanted at the cost of just a few thousand American lives.

Bush and Abramoff

My sources now report that Bush has visited with Abramoff at least 7 or 8 times while the President states he doesn't know the man. But my sources indicate that Bush even interrupted a meeting to take an urgent call from Abramoff.

To lie, to cheat, to steal. This is the slogan of the White House.

Fundamental Christians rally around Bush as one of them, deceived by Bush and his handlers, not realizing Bush is only using them and cares nothing for God or religion.

Every word Bush speaks is suspect. Every move he makes is deceptive. Every thought he thinks is evil.

Although Kerry carried Ohio by approximately 250,000 votes, Bush was declared the winner.

To lie, to cheat, to steal. The White House and those in power will do anything to retain and expand their hold on power, oil and money. They see nothing wrong with sending thousands of our sons and daughters to die in a war they themselves started. Now Halliburton has received a 485 million dollar federal contract to build a series of prison camps and detention centers across the United States. What are they up to now?

To lie, to cheat, to steal. This is the mantra of the people in power. This is the slogan of Bush and his handlers. These are the words they live by and their every action confirms this.

"I've Been Outsourced!" Now What?

Your job is not secure.

Centuries ago - or was it the 1990's? - we anticipated that many US manufacturing jobs would outsource to Asia or other 3rd world countries.

This has occured. What we didn't expect was that just a few years later, IT/high tech jobes would follow.

Economists and career consultants all expected that the US would retain its high tech careers with many of those workers displaced and out of work due to outsourcing would retrain and find employment in the IT sector.

It didn't happen that way.

Today thousands of high tech jobs are themselves outsourcing to places like India and China. Even several formerly East Bloc nations of Eastern Europe are capturing high tech work.

With employees in India and China receiving just $5000 a year in salary for a high tech position, the US simply cannot compete - especially when those same Indian and Chinese employees hold advanced degrees from such US institutions as Harvard, MIT, Stanford and Princeton.

You're standing on shaky ground if you plan on retiring in your current job if it's in a high tech or manufacturing field. In fact, it's more like standing on quicksand, because the reality seems to be not "if" that job will disappear but "when."

So what can you do?Start your own business.

It doesn't have be a Fortune 500 company. It doesn't have to have acres of office space and 5000 employees. All it needs is you.

Doing this will require a revolution in the way Americans view themselves vis-a-vis work. Yesterday you could count on some big company cradling you from graduation to retirement, protecting you from all the ins and outs, intricacies and responsibility in earning a profit.

You simply did not need to know that.

But things have changed.

Now we have to relearn how work is done.

Creativity, fast thinking, bias for action and the ability to communicate are all essentials in the new fastpaced global economy.

You don't need to do it all yourself - in fact, you shouldn't. But you do need to communicate to others what you can't or won't do and partner with those who understand what you (your business) needs and can provide the skills and abilities you can't.

Maybe you will have a one-man or one-woman operation outsourcing your work to those Indian and Chinese employees. Maybe you will have just a few employees in the US and Europe all connected by the internet videoconferencing by web, cell phone and iPod or similar devices with your manufacturing or research or software development center in Shanghai, New Delhi or Beijing.

Now is the perfect time to figure out what makes you the happiest doing and creates the highest profit.

The biggest change in how we perceive work lies in our own minds. That's also the location to all of our barriers to being successfully self-employed.

We need to learn to think "outside the box." The box is the way we have learned to think and work from birth. We have to rethink all our biases and opinions about working and discover ways of releasing our creativity.

The world is filled with abundance and there is enough to go around for everyone.Don't believe in the old dogmatic lies of the industrial revolution. Your financial security depends on your ability to find out what makes you the happiest and then identifying a path within that field that will make you financially independent. Your financial security does not depend on some company that gives you a paycheck a couple of times a month.

Your financial security depends on your ability to take an idea germinated in your own mind and then nurturing that idea into a profitable enterprise for yourself.

A Time of Tempest

That we are in a time of tempest cannot be denied. All that remains is the reason why.

Bold minds will seek the truth even if the truth is without their common and/or understood experience, and even if their imaginations are too meager to fully comprehend the depths of the truth they discover.

George Bush and friends seem intent upon introducing the New World Order regardless of the deprivation and degradation of the principles and rights which are the foundation upon which this nation was founded.

The Imperial presidency has come at last, as perhaps, it must always come eventually to nations which experiment with democracy and inalienable rights from a Divine Creator.

To forestall our fall into the deathgrip of authoritarianism which could slip into totalitarianism upon the American continent, we need a new revolution.

This revolution must be as counter to the mainstream as was the cultural revolution of the 1960's. It must be as productive as that revolution was with love, peace and music filling the air and the hearts and souls of those who would walk the path of a different drum.

This new revolution must also be a spiritual revolution, for we are a nation adrift without the foundation our Founding Fathers gave us - a nation founded upon the Gospel of Jesus - a Christian nation - born in battle, inspired by principle and dedicated to the promises of equality and self-determination for all.

That we have allowed our government to trample us and use us and rule as slaves is no fault of our government but only the fault of the people, who have allowed themselves - ourselves - to be led like cattle with rings in the noses.

It is never too late to turn about, to stand up for our rights. It is never too late to do what is right. It is never too late for the truth.

There are many who have blazed a path before us - Martin Luther King, Robert Kennedy, JFK. All had the courage to sit at the front of the bus when the back of the bus was their "rightful place." All had the courage to make known their hopes, dreams and vision of what could be. "Some people see things as they are and ask, why? I see things as they could be, and ask, why not?"

We stand upon a threshold in American history. We stand at two open doors. One leads to a bold future filled with light and promise. The other leads to a dark, dead end street piled with the garbage of decayed minds, the odor of violence and the depression of lost dreams.

George Bush stands beside one of these doors. To determine which door he stands beside we need to look at an ancient Chinese proverb: "To know the character of a small man, look at what he does. To know the character of a leader, look at his lieutenents."

I fear that most people will be unable to discern the truth. For I know that most people will ignore facts which are contrary to their preset beliefs dismissing such facts as irrevelant or erroneous or by simply ignoring them.

The future of our nation and that of our children and possibly the whole world lies in your hands. It is up to you to speak the truth. It is up to you to do what is right. It is up to you to do what is bold. It is up to you to do.

"For evil to win requires only that good men do nothing."

Don't do nothing. Be bold. Live Your dreams. Think for yourself. Do what is right.

75. The Pattern of Dictatorship

History shows that self-made despotic rulers follow a standard pattern:

In gaining power:

1. - They exploit, consciously or unconsciously, a state of popular dissatisfaction with the existing regime or of hostility between different sections of the people.

2. - They attack the existing regime violently and combine their appeal to the discontent with unlimited promises (which, if successful, they fulfill only to a lomited extent).

3. - They claim that they want absolute power for only a short time (but find subsequently, that the time to relinquish power never comes).

4. - They excite popular sympathy by presenting the picture of a conspiracy against them and use this as a lever to gain a firmer hold at some crucial stage.

Upon gaining power:

1. - They soon begin to rid themselves of their chief helpers, "discovering" that those who helped them bring about the new order have suddenly become traitors to it.

2. - They suppress criticism on one pretext or another and punish anyone who mentions facts which, however true, are unfavorable to their policy.

3. - They enlist religion on their side if possible, or if its leaders are not compliant, foster a new kind of religion subservient to their needs.

4. - They spend public money lavishly on material works of a striking kind, in compensation for the freedom of spirit and thought which they have robbed from the public.

5. - They manipulate the currency to make the economic position of the state appear better that it is in reality.

6. - They ultimately make war on some other state as a means of diverting attention from internal conditions and allowing discontent to explode outward.

7. - They use the rallying cry of patriotism as a maens of riveting the chains of their personal authority more firmly on the people.

8. - They expand the superstructure of the state while undermining its foundations:

a - by breeding sycophants at the expense of self-respecting collaborators,

b - by appealing to the popular taste for the grandiose and sensational instead of true values and,

c - by fostering a romantic instead of a realistic view, thus ensuring the ultimate collapse, under their successors if not themselves, of what they have created.

The Strategy of Peace

The Strategy of Peace is not a pacifist policy. The Strategy of Peace is an assertive strategy based on military and political power. Nations which employ a pacifist stance act the role of victim and soon become victims of more powerful nations. A nation employing a policy of strength has greater potential for ensuring its security and longevity.

Underpinning the Strategy of Peace is a military truism: War is not about opposing armies, it is about the will of those who would send armies to war.

Utilizing this principle, the Strategy of Peace targets the will of the enemy leadership, convincing them that their initiation of hostilities would not only fail to attain their objectives, but would, in fact, be counterproductive to those objectives, to the entity or organization from which forces would be drawn and even to the leadership itself.

The Strategy of Peace is a simple strategy and consists of several steps:

1. Identify the enemy leadership - those who have decision-making power on whether or not to go to war.

2. Identify the organization. This could be a nation-state, political faction, regional coalition, a networked organization, terrorist pact or local gang.

Each organization seeks survival and respect. There is no organization whose objective is self-destruction, although the destruction of the individual for the sake of the organization may be a valid principle for that organization.

3. Identify the motives and objectives of the organization. What philosophy does the organization adhere to and/or seek to promote?

4. Identify the reasons and objectives the enemy entertains for hostile operations.

5. Search through all the data recovered and prepare a strategy which identifies the enemy's strengths and exploits the enemy's weaknesses while magnifying your strengths and neutralizing your weaknesses. This plan, the Strategy of Peace, will highlight and leverage Steps 7 through 9 below.

6. Prepare a fully orchestrated campaign utilizing all available channels of distribution to reach the enemy leadership and ensure that they receive your message.

The mass media, political analysts, think tanks, college students, broadcast networks and talk shows, letters between corporations, husbands and wives, parents and students; multinational organizations, intelligence organizations, sports authorities and teams, et al, all may be contacted and/or employed (openly or surreptitiously) as a means to convey the terms of the Strategy of Peace to the enemy leadership.

The message to convey to the enemy leadership must include the following points:

7. Convince the enemy leadership they cannot achieve those objectives if they do go to war.

8. Convince the enemy leadership that the material and psychological (to the mass body politick)costs of war to the enemy will simply be too great to recover from.

9. Encourage the enemy leadership that they may be able to attain the objectives they seek by going to war against some other entity.

Step 9, if successful, will serve to diminish the enemy's military capabilities, reducing its ability to prosecute a war in the future. This may also serve to fracture the political infrastructure of the state and any such fractures must be exploited.

The Strategy of Peace is as applicable with guerrilla warfare, terrorist operations and gang activities as it is with nation-state operations.

Irag & Vietnam; Unjust War

Spending Us Into Bankruptcy

The President and this current Administration seem intent upon spending the US into bankruptcy.

A slash in taxes, followed by war and hurricanes and the President's promise to spend all that was necessary to resolve these issues without increasing taxes all seem fundamentally naive.

The economy remains sluggish and Americans are not comfortable with the economy regardless of what the numbers may say and especially regardless of proclamations by the President or other officials. People know what they feel in their heart and what they feel - what they sense if a potential weakness in the economy.

In this case, people's feelings and the reality are at odds. The economy is slow and sluggish but surprisingly stable, strong and resilient.

It is strong because despite attempts by the White House to undermine the economy by a "spend, spend, spend" philosophy, the nation has not yet succumbed to a recession.

The Administration seems desperate to induce a recession and possibly a depression in order to increase its power over the rights and liberties of the American people.

The goal of this Administration all along has been to increase its power over the people and deny the essential liberties and rights this nation was based on and further degrade and erode the morals and ethics of a formerly moral and upright people.

We all see the horror on the nightly news. Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans. But that isn't the real story.

The real story is the lack of federal response.

Where is the government? Where is the Red Cross? Why aren't there air drops of food and water if it is too unsafe to get people on the ground? Where are the tents, the convoys of air and ground vehicles carrying food, water, clothing, tents and medical supplies?

Such things have happened in every other natural disaster in US history. But these things are not happening in New Orleans today.

Why not?

The President, FEMA, the Red Cross and the federal authorities have all refused offers of aid from many sources. Why? I offered to lead a volunteer group to go in and deliver food and water, but my offer was turned down. Why? Why was help from Russia, Israel, Venezuela and other countries refused? The President may have changed his mind now, or maybe he will in days to come, but in the first few days after this disaster - when it was most critically needed - all help was refused, turned down, denied. Why?

If my understanding of history and politics is correct, its all a setup.

The failure of authorities to act in New Orleans following this disaster, the refusal to allow people to go in so lives could be saved, the gut-wrenching, heart-breaking lack of response by the government allowing people to die, be raped, murdered and beaten is all a setup.

The setup is this.

It's to create the atmosphere for something else to happen further on down the line.

Exactly what, I don't know. It won't be to ban all guns across the country because looters and hoodlums are shooting at rescuers and rescue helicopters. That would be too extreme. It won't be to establish martial law across the country. That also would be too extreme.

But it could be to preposition "emergency supplies" in "critical locations" across the country. These "emergency supplies" would - of course - include military ammunition, ordnance and equipment, in order to "protect the people" in the "affected areas" from "rioters, looters and rampaging gangs of hoodlums and desperate criminals".

I suppose these things Could be going on in New Orleans. But I'm not there, so I don't know for sure. I have heard on the news, as you have no doubt, about helicopters and rescue workers being fired on by snipers and "hoodlums". Although I suppose that is possible, it doesn't make sense. But perhaps the gravity of the disaster has made people lose their common sense or caused them to forget moral values. Perhaps. It does seem certain that at least one case has occurred (that of a National Guard troop being shot in the leg while in a struggle for his gun), so maybe there are a few others as well. Maybe.

I feel a more likely scenario - regardless of who is doing the shooting - if there is any - is to allow the federal government to set up these staging areas so they will be able to move troops around the country with ease and without alarming the population, such troops to include the US Army (Federal, not National Guard), in order to control large areas of the country when, and as the federal government sees fit to do so.

Another possible reason for this "setup" - if there is one - only time will tell - may simply be to enable or allow the government to dispatch federal troops (US Army - not National Guard) to wherever it may deem appropriate as it deems necessary. The US Army is currently prohibited by law from any domestic law enforcement role.

As we see in New Orleans, the National Guard is "overwhelmed", for the first few days it was nowhere to be seen. Only now, 5 days after the disaster - are National Guard troops arriving on the scene in sufficient number to make an impact and establish control over the situation. The Administration may use this as an excuse to permit the federal use of the US Army and/or federal control of the National Guard anywhere in the country as it sees fit; in order to control the people.

Why?

Because this fits in with the long range goal of the federal government ESPECIALLY this administration. To take control of the people and the country, dispense with civil rights and establish a totalitarian police state controlled by the likes of Cheney, Rumsfeld and cronies thereof.

Is this just another "conspiracy theory" or does what I say have some merit?

If what I claim is correct, then the federal government will invent a "solution" to the lack of federal response in New Orleans which will further erode the rights of the people - as the 9/11 attacks did - increase the power of the federal authorities and serve to further their goals of establishing a police state in the US.

All this will be done in the name of "public security", or of protection, or some other Orwellian phrase that will sound good, have some idea of "common sense", "seem right", but that in fact will have the direct opposite goals in mind.

So we have 4 reasons that this could be happening.

1. To create prepositioned staging areas of supplies, especially military ordnance.

2. To allow the federal government to freely move troops around the country.

3. Some combination of 1 and 2.

4. Some other reason that promotes the agenda of the federal government in eroding the Constitution, establishing a police state and controlling the people so that they won't protest against the federal government or raise alarms against the further intrusion into private affairs by federal authorities.

I am a patriot in the classical sense. I believe in life, liberty and free speech. I believe in small government and the freedom for each individual to conduct their affairs as they see fit as long as such conduct does not unduly influence any other individual in the conduct of their affairs.

The present US government seems to disagree with me.

This administration is despicable, vindictive and filled with hate, greed and dissension. It will cheat, lie and steal to enhance its own power and perhaps even kill to protect the power it now possesses. All I can do is pray and spread the truth through blogs and websites.

I am only one person, but as a nation we are many. The Spirit of God goes before us, against such, who can prevail? None. For no one is stronger than God. Though many of us who believe in truth may perish, victory is certain, and those who seek to deny the power of the people will themselves be defeated.

The Cause of the War in Iraq

The war in Iraq continues and President Bush and the Pentagon are nonplussed as to the degree, intensity and size of the opposition. What they don't understand is that a war of low intensity conflict - as this war is (LIC - Low-Intensity Conflict is where at least one side has no regular standing army but instead uses irregular forces drawn from the population or other sources to conduct limited but deadly strikes against their enemy), has no relation to military power. Rather, a war of this type is dependent upon ideology.

Although every war is based to some degree on ideology, a LIC form of war is primarily based on ideology. In the case of the war in Iraq, this ideology is religious in nature.

To quell the opposition in Iraq and prevent American troops and Iraqi citizens from dying, the American military and political leadership must understand the cause of this war. Ideology is the driving force, not military force, not size of the opposition, not the number of Muslims ready to die for their cause.

When 1 Muslim dies in a suicide bombing, this only encourages others to take his or her place. If a combatant Muslim is killed or captured before they have the chance to commit suicide, others will rise up to complete the mission left uncompleted.

This war cannot be won by number of dead. It cannot be won by capturing a region and then releasing that region back to the local populace. It cannot be won by generals or presidents throwing arms, equipment or someone's sons or daughters into the meatgrinder. It can be won by defusing the situation through understanding of the motive for war.

This war is based on a religious ideology. The enemy leadership feels threatened by the American presence, by Western values and a shift of power into the hands of the people and out of the hands of the religious leadership.

To win this war requires convincing the combatant Muslim leadership that continued hostile action on their part will be detrimental to their organization and create a disservice to their religion.

If we do not achieve these objectives, there is a possibility the war will grow, spreading around the world, with new strikes in Europe, the US and nations the enemy believes are providing the US with assistance. This could mean strikes in Japan or Australia which are Western in philosophy but have little or none in terms of military support in Iraq. They support the US by nature of their culture and it is this culture the enemy fears.

The enemy believes that the West has attacked their traditional values and so they are just defending in the only way they believe they can.

We must convince the enemy that their traditional values, their religion and their religious values and their culture will be preserved by the West. We do not seek to "Westernize" them, but rather to accept them into the world community as equals.

We must convince the enemy that their continued attacks do not serve them but rather only provoke us to greater action and greater incursion into their values. We must convince them that the more the enemy strikes out at the West, the more the West will harden its resolve to win this conflict at any cost. As the US sought "total victory" and "unconditional surrender" by the enemy after Pearl Harbor so also will we seek totality in this conflict, even if such a position is not true. We must only convince the enemy that it is what we believe. To win this conflict, the US must find a place that the combatant leadership can aspire to without conflict and this will take greater intelligence anaylsis on the part of the US and the western powers than has thus far been experienced.

We may seek to win on the battlefield, but that cannot occur until and unless we have killed or captured every individual who would make war against the US, (which could be millions), or forcing the entire population into camps or preserves where the whereabouts and activity of every individual is known and closely monitored or displacing every individual to a location where they can pose no threat to the West.

These are unlikely options and serve to highlight the obvious; this war probably cannot be won by conventional means - force against force, because force is merely an outbreak of a deeper condition. We must address that deeper condition to end this war, without doing so, the most likely probability is that this war will just go on and on.

I won't dance around the bush, the purpose of your life is to express yourself.

If this sounds too simple, that's because great truths are almost always quite simple.

So how do you do that? That's where things get tricky.

You express yourself by doing that which you were born to do. Everyone is here on Earth for a specific purpose. Everyone has a perfect work they are supposed to be doing. Not following these leads us to despair, heartache, tragedy, illness, cancer, anger, addictions, accidents, et al. All the negative things that occur in our lives are a result of us not doing those things we are supposed to be doing.

Generally, all of us (almost all of us) have this backwards. We think that in order to be happy in life we need to be successful. Sounds good so far, right? Ok. And in order to be successful we must go to school, go to college, get a degree, get a job in a well paying field, get credit cards and buy those things - the big house, the fine car, the nice clothes, the vacations and all those benefits that come with a high paying job that mean success.

That's what we've been told. That's what we have come to believe. But nothing could be further from the truth.

We can't be happy by doing what everyone else has done. If everyone in the world was doing what they were born to do, then we wouldn't have wars, we wouldn't have hate, we wouldn't have crime, we wouldn't have anger, we wouldn't have pain, we wouldn't have racism, we wouldn't be confronted with a world that is experiencing crisis after crisis.

We would have peace. We would have love, we would have joy, we would have happiness, we would have fufillment and we each would be experiencing all that individually.

How is this possible?

We need to take another look at our purpose.

Another way of coming to our purpose in life is this: Our purpose is

to seek
to serve
to create

First, we seek out the reason we are here. This is our dream, it is the perfect work we are supposed to do, it is that which fulfills us. It also means to seek God in whatever way we recognize Him/Her/It.

To serve means to serve humanity. In this way we serve God. Serving God is serving humanity. We achieve this by creating.

Creating is how we express ourselves.

Creating will be different for each person. It could mean being the best janitor we can be, it could mean being the best doctor we can be. It could mean we are supposed to be a missionary, or an accountant, an attorney, a homemaker, a taxi driver, a warehouse worker, a factory worker or an office worker.

Creating could also mean something artistic - as in being a musician, writing songs, writing books, painting, designing websites, doing tile work or becoming an architect, a sculptor or fashion designer.

Creating could also mean someone who develops crafts such as tile work, handbags, jewelry, floral arrangements, etc.

Or it could mean doing all of these.

To seek, to serve and to create means that we must turn our lives into a masterpiece, a work of art, it means to live in the fullest expression of who we are.

How do we do this?

We do this by following the FFSSS Plan.

FFSSS is an acronym for Family, Financial, Self, Social, Spiritual.

These are the five facets of life that we must address in order to achieve fulfillment and in order to fulfill our purpose in life.

Family

Family means learning to build a good family. If we don't have one, then our family is our neighbor, the homeless person on the street, the people down the street, in the next town, the next state, the next country, the next continent.

Courses at churches, colleges and other locations can help us to build a better family. Books at bookstores and tv shows like Oprah and Dr. Phil can all help us to learn how to build better relationships with our immediate and extended families.

Financial

Financial is understood by all. But what it means here is to learn those principles that will lead us to financial independence in the shortest possible time period. In this period of human history we have perhaps the greatest opportunity to learn these principles.

Books such as the Richest Man in Babylon by George Clason, Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, The Rich Dad series by Robert Kiyosaki, the Multiple Streams of Income books and others by Robert Allen, and the works of Suze Orman as well as others can all help us to learn those principles we need to achieve financial independence.

Courses and seminars, some taught by some of the above authors, are available and can further our education in financial matters.

Self

Self stands for self-development. We aren't going to achieve anything until we learn to leave all our pains behind. They weigh us down like an anchor holding us into the current pattern of our life.

Again, numerous books and courses are available that will help us to learn more about ourselves and take personal charge and responsibility for our lives.

Advanced technologies such as Avatar taught by Star's Edge, NLP (look online) and Dianetics taught by your local Church of Scientology can provide us with skills to use to get the past behind us and retrain our minds to achieve the success for which we are truly worthy.

Self also includes your body. Our bodies are the temples of our souls. We need to learn more about nutrition, exercise regularly and find quiet time just for ourselves. These things may not be so easy in our fast-paced world, but they are critical to our success.

Social

Social is how we deal and interact with other people. In order to achieve the best for ourselves, we will need to build an effective team. This can only be accomplished by understanding the nuances of personality and what makes people tick. It means developing our communication skills and our thought patterns to develop persuasive presentations that will positively affect our environment and those we interact with. A course like the Dale Carnegie course and programs offered by Guthy-Renker can help in this area.

No one achieves anything on their own. The United States has the myth of the lone entrepreneur - the man or woman who built their hugely successful company up from nothing with no one helping them. That is an old and dangerous myth.

The most successful people in any age are those who have built the most effective teams. This takes leadership, courage and humility. It requires courage and humility because in order to be successful we need to ask for help.

Spiritual

Spiritual deals with God, religion and spirituality. There is no reality without spirituality. Every physical law and principle has a like metaphysical (or spiritual) law or principle undergirding it.

Our world is in turmoil now, but it is because we have lost our focus. This focus needs to be on the spiritual. We need to develop a relationship with God.

Our religions of the past have barricaded us from the relationship we need to get to know God better. Our religions have taught us that only certain people can have a direct relationship with God. They have also taught that only certain people at certain times can "talk" with God or receive communication from God. But that is not true.

God is speaking to all of us, each of us, all the time.

We simply have been taught that that is not true.

We need to retrain ourselves that God does speak to us all the time. God is speaking to you and through you. We just need to find out how to come to this understanding, and then the voice of God becomes clearer and clearer.

Tomorrow's religion is not about religion. It is about relationship. Each of us needs to build an immediate and personal relationship with God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

These terms may mean different things to different people. But the most important thing is to begin that relationship in whatever way you understand it.

Another thing to realize is this: You and God are one. We all are a facet of God. Each person is just a part of that ultimate Oneness we call God. Whatever we do to another is what we do to ourselves.

I'll expand more on the spiritual in the future.

Following the FFSSS Plan will help us to fulfill our purpose in life. We also need to follow the Principles of Success.

Education: Institutionalized Stupidity

It's easier to lead and to dominate those who have been taught to follow and who have been taught not to think. This becomes an institutionalized doctrine of stupidity and of follow the leader for the undertaught masses when the entire educational system is designed to teach people to not think on their own, but instead to naively and blindly follow the leader. This has been the brand of American education since the beginning of the 20th century.

There is nothing wrong with American teachers. There is something wrong with the system they teach within.

American teachers are as much at the mercy of the system as are the students they teach.

We continuously bemoan and criticize teachers for putting out a shoddy product yet we refuse to provide them the tools necessary to do so.

A maxim states "the definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over and expect different results." Isn't this what we are doing with the system? Isn't this what we are doing with students? Isn't this what we are doing with teachers?

If we truly seek to graduate individuals able to think, decide and act and take their place responsibly in society, we must address the reasons why this isn't happening now. It was happening, it did happen - in the one room schoolhouse.

This may be an extreme example, yet it worked. Perhaps we should study what made it work and bring those elements and concepts into the present. At the turn of the century, calculus was being taught to 7th grade students. The text they were using was by Silvanus Thomson; "Calculus Made Easy" which, regardless of the title, certainly wasn't easy.

If this advanced education could be taught in small little schoolhouses across the country a hundred years ago, why can't we do it today? It's not the teachers who are at fault. Nor, in a sense, is it even the system. Those who know the truth know better. Our schools are turning out dumbdowned individuals intentionally because those who have power want to keep it and an educated population would threaten their hold on power and perhaps even change the world for the better - for the good of all. It is possible, it can be done, but those who hold the reins of power won't permit that to happen.

Iraq & the Decline of America

In the middle 1970's, a top Soviet general defected to the United States. In a book he published a few years later, he stated that there would come a Soviet Spring - when the winds of democracy would blow across the Soviet Union. This occurred as he stated. He next stated that this Soviet Spring would be followed by a global war on terrorism. We now know the truth of this statement. Next, he said, would be a war on asteroids and meteorites to be followed by a war on aliens. All these he said would be false. Deceptions and misdirection perpetrated by those in power to obtain more power and wealth for themselves while stripping people of their rights and turning the world into their own slave labor camp.

Although this General did not foresee the fall of the Soviet Union, everything else he stated has occurred, almost to timtable. We see the war on terrorism going on and growing worse while our freedoms are stripped away by the Patriot Act and the Department of Homeland Security.

The Discovery Channel and other vanguard cable channels report that the threat from space is growing; that meteors and asteroids could wipe out life on Earth if they were ever to crash into the planet.

Power is consolidating into the hands of a few at the expense of the many. To determine who is behind all this we need only "follow the money" as Deep Throat once stated.

Now President Bush is saying that we are winning a war that cannot be won, that the numbers of troops in country are sufficient to achieve peace and that the threat from Iraq is declining.

How much of this is sheer fabrication we do not know. This may be more of a Weapons of Mass Destruction type excuse. A Potemkin Village to disguise the truth behind paper thin facades.

In South Dakota, a vice president catches a cold while hunting. But this can be a most dangerous game in which a virus can spread to destroy those who would seek to control all.

The United States is in fast decline.

The United States has reached the point of "imperial overstretch" in which our domestic and worldwide obligations outstrip our ability to deliver on those obligations. Our budget is in deficit and our industry is in decline.

A restructuring is upon us, but the powers that be refuse to relinquish the past. The current administration and past administrations have done much damage to the power of the United States and the liberty that once flourished here.

Our colleges and universities, once the envy of the world are now in decline as visas for foreign students become harder and harder to obtain. The brainpower of these students is essential to the intellectual power of our great schools of learning.

Primary and secondary schools are unable to prepare students for life after school. In excess of 30% of students graduating from these schools are almost totally unprepared and unsuited for life after school.

Our moral and ethical decline is evident at Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo and in the way we kidnap innocent people off the street to whisk them away to foreign countries where they are tortured for months at a time.

American prisons house over 1% of the American population - mostly the underpriviliged and poverty stricken. Those who are released from prison use their new found prison skills to commit even more dastardly crimes.

Racial enmity, once on the decline, again threatens the inner city and urban and rural America. Hate crimes, violence against those who are different than we and crimes of state threaten every American and imperil the rights we have fought to sustain for over 200 years.

The Statue of Liberty should be weeping. For we are no longer a nation of the free and the brave. We are no longer a nation that opens its doors to the huddled masses of the world seeking to breathe free. We have turned our backs on immigration and in so doing, we have turned our backs on our future.

In all this darkness, and this is just a small sample, there yet is light. The American people are bold and brave and when faced with a challenge, we have always risen to the occasion - when led by enlightened leadership. But there is no such leadership in sight - yet. All we have now are partisan politics, power grabbing decisions and wealth accumulating strategies designed to strip Americans of their rights and wealth and voice.

We will win, as a nation, as a people and as idea. For America Is the land of the free and the home of the brave. That idea lives in our hearts, perhaps, as only an idea right now, but it shall return as a fact, as a lived out function of our daily reality - if noble politicians, bold leaders and enlightened individuals speak up and make their opinions known.

A new world is upon us. The economy becomes global and the world village manifests as a fact. Jobs, once the economic engine of the family and individual are passe in postindustrial states.

We need to relearn about finances, education, spirituality, politics and religion, as all of these are intertwined in ways most people are incapable of fathoming. And, those who can understand must teach those who do not. Enlightened leadership is required now more than ever. An understanding of metaphysical reality must meet with the sharp edges and hard planes of materialism and capitalism which have been the mainstay of the western democracies for a hundred plus years.

Now is the time for change, for the threat is great. President Bush is right about one thing - we are in dire and even fatal straits if we are unable to make things right.

America may be in decline. But it doesn't have to stay that way.

Is This the End? God's Coming Wrath

Is this the end? Earthquakes in California. A tsunami in the Indian Ocean. Wars and rumors of wars. Isaiah Chapter 18 says that the nation of "whirring wings" - a nation crossed with rivers, a nation undefeated in war, feared around the world, will send its soldiers to die in the mountains and deserts of the Mid East in a time shortly before the harvest. During this time, this nation will deliver a present to Zion.

What this present delivered to Israel or Jerusalem is we are not told. Above the United States at any one time, over 4000 aircraft are winging their way across the continent. Surely, these are "whirring wings". This will all occur "shortly before the harvest" - the Judgement.

Is this the end? Is God coming soon? There are many who think so. God sends prophets to warn the people of His coming. God also brings earthquakes and other "natural" disasters to help people understand that they need to turn back to Him, to repent. These earthquakes and natural disasters will grow in intensity as the day of God's judgement nears. Are you ready?

The day for this is now upon us. God is warning us strongly to return to Him, to repent, to recognize Him as the ultimate authority. The warnings are here to indicate that if we do not, we will all be lost. Everything will be destroyed.

God loves us so much that He sends us these warnings so that we have the chance to turn back to Him, before it's too late and escape the coming wrath.

People don't understand that natural disasters are not "caused" by God. He has established principles and laws which govern the operation of the universe. When these laws are disobeyed, consequences result. If we step off a 10 story building, we will fall. If we try to cross the ocean by swimming, most likely we will drown. God will usually not save us from our own stupidity, even though it is in His power to do so.

It is we who don't understand that every natural law of the universe is underpinned by a spiritual law. And it is the spiritual law which governs and controls the natural law. When these spiritual laws are broken, the natural law is similarly affected, although it may take months, years or even generations for the impetus of the breaking of the spiritual law to affect the natural law.

This is what we are seeing now. We have polluted the Earth and it is repaying us. We have wars and now earthquakes result. We kill each other for drugs, money or mere acceptance into a gang and morality around the world declines. God says in Galatians 6:7 that He "will not be mocked"; for every action there is a consequence. If we sow to our lower nature we will reap that nature. If we sow to our higher self, we will reap that self.

We have forgotten that we are spiritual beings. We have been taught - deceived really - into believing that we are mere flesh and blood. But that is not true. We are spiritual beings having a physical experience. By indulging our physical pleasures we break spiritual laws. Rather than committing ourselves to long term joy and happiness - which come from the soul, we indulge in short term gratification of the body - pleasure.

As we indulge in pleasure of the body, whether physical (drugs, sex, drunkeness, etc.) or emotional (anger, hate, envy, etc.) we build barriers to our spiritual nature and add on to those events which break the spiritual laws. Eventually, these broken spiritual laws manifest as broken physical laws - earthquakes, wars, famines, plagues. And pleasure is habit forming. The more we engage in it, the more we want it.

Satan has tricked us into believing that we can only be happy by engaging in pleasure and materialism. It feels so good and the pleasure is so intense. Yet, everything and anything that does not glorify God is a sin. We can do the same things, theoretically, but doing those things for God will bring us closer to Him, while doing those things for pleasure leads us away and generates Satan's kingdom.

Our time is short. God is and has been patient. But His patience will not continue to endure. There will be calms and lulls before the storm. But eventually the storm will break. We must repent to save ourselves. And God has promised us one more thing.

We can escape the coming storm.

If enough of us repent and turn back to God, building a direct relationship with Him and Jesus through the guidance and direction of the Holy Spirit, we can bypass the storm.

Churches, religions, doctrines and dogma have had their day. But the day for all such things has passed. Today a new day is upon us. Is is the day of a new direct personal relationship with God through the personage of His Only Son Jesus, guided by the indwelling Holy Spirit.

The Bible and church policy and doctrine may be where we need to start for us to begin that direct personal relationship. But is only a first step. Jesus seeks a direct, immediate and personal relationship with each of us. If enough of us initiate this kind of a relationship, the Earth will not need to go through the terrible day of wrath that is fast approaching.

Nostradamus, prophets, seers, aborigine peoples, New Age channelers, natives of all kinds have all predicted horrible and terrifying earth changes within the next few years. But God has shown me that this is only one possibility. There remains another. Turn to Him, begin that direct, personal relationship with His Son and all these changes will pass us as the avenging angel passed over the Hebrews when they anointed their doorframes with blood of a sacrifice. That angel passed over ("Passover") the Hebrews and went on to claim the first born sons of the Egyptians.

The same time is upon us now. We can die as the Egyptians died or we can accept the Gospel of Jesus in a direct, immediate and personal relationship and escape the coming storm.

$100,000 - $150,000 by 22

Everyone should have a passive and portfolio income of $50,000 to $75,000 a year by the time they reach 18 and $100,000 to $150,000 a year in passive and portfolio income by the time they reach 22. No, this isn't rich. But it is comfortable. Getting rich by 18 is possible, but not without exceptional skills and a whole lot of luck.

By the time you graduate high school your income should be at least $50,000 a year and by the time you get out of college 4 years later your income should be between $100,000 to $150,000 a year without you having to work for it.

That you do not is not your fault.

The lack of providing financial education - the education that will provide you the knowledge to acquire those assets to generate an income of $50,000 to $75,000 by the time you get out of high school - is essentially the responsibility of our culture.

It is not our parents fault nor is it the "fault" of our educational system. It is primarily the "fault" of our society.

Because this education is unknown to our parents and it is not taught in our schools it is the responsibility of each individual to acquire this information themselves.

Fortunately at this time in our history, this information is readily available to the masses - perhaps for the first time. Books such as the "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" series by Robert Kiyosaki, "Multiple Streams of Income" by Robert Allen, "The 9 Steps to Financial Freedom" by Suze Orman and "The Automatic Millionaire" series by David Bach all explore and explain the details of this information.

Working for a living, and by this I mean going to work at a job and getting a paycheck once a week or every two weeks, is a relatively new concept. It's only been around for the last 150 years or so or commensurate with (and as a result of) the beginning of the industrial revolution.

Prior to the industrial revolution, only serfs or slaves worked for someone else. Everyone else was self-employed. And that had been the case for thousands of years of human history.

This is the path we need to return to today. Many people feel they cannot master the details or intricacies or stress involved with owning and running a business. Others feel that owning a business is somehow taking advantage of people. For all these people, they are probably right. The alternative for both groups is to be self-employed.

Essentially, this is what the rich and super-rich in our society are doing and have always done. No one can know everything they need to know to run a multibillion dollar business. Very few could even know all they would need to know to run the laundromat down the street. What the rich and the super-rich do is hire people who know what they do not.

This then leaves the owners of business free to focus on the skills they know best and love doing. They leverage time and resources to accomplish the feats they achieve. No one can be a success alone. All success requires teamwork, from the marathon runner to the star pitcher of a MLB team.

The greatest successes in history did not do it alone. They all had teams of successful people behind them, supporting their efforts, involved with the details they did not understand, could not master or simply had no time to focus on. Leverage your skills to achieve success. Focus on those things you do well leaving those things you do not do well or have no time to do to others.

The book "The E-Myth Revisited" by Michael Gerber is an excellent source of what to do if you own or are thinking about owning a small business. This book will help you understand why 80% of new businesses fail within 5 years and 90% fail within 10. "The E-Myth Revisited" shows us why being self-employed and owning a small busines often becomes worse than a job and working for someone else. Don't make the mistakes most people do when starting or going into business for themselves. Get this book and avoid them.

So. How do you get rich by 18?

The simple answer is that you don't, not without hard work, extraordinary skills, exceptional courage and luck being your close companion.

That leaves me out and probably you too. So what can you and I do?

You can still acquire an income of $50,000 to $75,000 a year without working for it, at least in the sense of going to work at a job and receiving a paycheck. You will still be working, perhaps harder (more hours) than you would for someone else, but you'll be working for yourself.

Working for yourself will provide you with more satisfaction, greater confidence, more prosperity and greater happiness than working for some job.

Not having an income of $50,000 to $75,000 by the time you're 18 or $100,000 to $150,000 by the time you're 22 is not your fault. It is simply because no one told you how.

If you read all the books I have mentioned, you will have a good head start. There will still be a lot to learn, much of it from "on the job training" - the mistakes you will inevitably make, but eventually if you keep at it you will get it.

Those books are a good first step. Next is to discover your passion in life and begin doing it. Even if it leads you away from learning about financial education. As you begin this path, implement the 4 Way Test.

The 4 Way Test was developed by Herbert Taylor in 1932 and is now a credo of Rotary International. The test is this:

1. Is it the truth?
2. Is it fair to all concerned?
3. Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
4. Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

Living the 4 Way Test will bless you spiritually, emotionally and materially. The world is in dire straits now, perhaps more so than ever in history. Living the 4 Way Test, implementing it in our lives, in our homes, in business and in politics can set things on the path to a better world. Not implementing the 4 Way Test will condemn us to more of what we see going on all around us. If you have a better way of implementing ethics and morality into your everyday affairs, do it, if not, use the 4 Way Test.

Most of the successful people I have researched and interviewed started their first business at around the age of 9. If you are not one of these, don't worry. It's never to late to begin. But a start at 9 will amass the assets you need to achieve an income of $50,000 to $75,000 9 years later - with the proper education, financial knowledge and mastery of the necessary principles.

Learning these principles will enable you to go to college and acquire additional assets to achieve an income of $100,000 to $150,000 in another 4 years. This is not an impossible dream. It is possible - for everyone.

Sports. What about sports? Or dance? Or art? There is no excuse for not acquiring the proper financial education for only this will free you from the tyranny of work or financial enslavery. However, if sports, dance or some other field is your passion in life, do it. Let the financial education come later.

Fulfilling your passion in life is the only true way to be happy in life. The money will come by following that path. But then, as the money begins to roll in, we need to initiate our financial education in order to hold onto and protect the wealth we have.

America is the most litigious society in the world, and will only get worse. Financial education will enable us to protect our financial assets, minimize our taxes and ensure us an income when we are no longer able to pursue our passion. Financial education will protect us from losing all that we have gained when just one lawsuit can take it all away.

It will require 8 to 10 years of work after you begin this path for you to achieve an income of $50,000 to $75,000 a year in passive and portfolio investments. And that assumes that you're about average and acquire the financial education and master the necessary principles to do so. It will require another 4 to 5 years to reach $100,000 to $150,000 in annual passive and portfolio income. But it is possible. You can do it.

Rich at 18 may be an impossible dream. But never having to work again at 18 is not, if you begin soon enough. Be bold, live your dream, follow your passion and learn the financial education you need to be free from work, and to retain the income that makes living your dreams possible.

How to get rich is really quite simple. 1. Generate excess cash. 2. Invest your excess cash in passive and portfolio investments until the income from those investments is great enough to enable you to retire. Of course, most people get stuck on number 1.

Generate excess cash. First, let's define "excess cash". Excess cash means that you have an income coming in that is 2 to 3 times the average for your area. You can create this excess cash in one of two ways.

The first way to generate excess cash is to work 2 or 3 jobs at the same time. The second way is to learn a trade that pays about 2 to 3 times the average pay for your area. What trade? That depends on the area you live in.

Electricians, accountants, carpenters, masons may all make 2 to 3 times the average wage for your area. Also, almost anything in the health field such as nursing, pharmacology, physical therapy, radiology, etc. may generate 2 or 3 times the average income for your area.

How do you determine the "average" income for your area? This also is easy if you don't mine being inexact. Just go to any Wal-Mart or McDonald's in your area. Ask them what their starting pay is. The "average" income for your area will be about one and a half to two times the amount Wal-Mart or McDonald's pays their entry level people. If there's a large discrepancy between what McDonald's and Wal-Mart pays just take the average of what they pay, then double it. This is the average income for your area.

Now that you have excess cash, what do you do with it?

You invest it.

Excess cash is invested in passive and portfolio vehicles. It is not partied away, it is not used to buy a bigger house or a finer car. You do not use it to take better vacations or improve your wardrobe. Use it Only to invest in passive and portfolio investments. When the income from these investments is great enough that you can retire, then go on that nice vacation, buy those fine clothes, purchase that big house or nice car, but for now, don't spend it, invest it. Do this right and you should be able to retire in 2 to 10 years. 2 years will be if you're lucky.

Passive investments or vehicles are investments primarily in business or real estate. However, investments in licenses, patents, copyrights et al would also qualify.

Portfolio investments are more familiar. These are investments in stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, T-bills, etc.

With your first bit of excess cash you will need to visit an accountant. Have the accountant prepare 3 financial plans for you. The first plan will be the income you'll receive in retirement at just a sustenance level. The bare minimum to get by. The second plan will be the amount of income you'll need to get by at a "comfortable" level. The third plan will be the amount of income you'll need to retire rich.

Each plan will include not only the outcome - how much income you'll receive in retirement - but also how much you'll need to invest each year to get there and what "vehicles" you'll need to invest in.

A "vehicle" is any investment category or object whether it be real estate, stocks, mutual funds, a business, copyright on a book or a patent. Any of these could be a vehicle - a device you have invested in to increase your current assets and future income.

Your current lifestyle must support your future goals. Acquire no new debt unless it is "good" debt. Good debt is any debt that you obtain which produces income for you. Bad debt is any debt which takes money away from you. This is also the true definition of an asset and a liability.

Contrary to traditional accounting practice and common understanding, an asset is anything you own that puts money into your pocket on a regular basis. A liability is anything you own that takes money out of your pocket.

You must not enhance your lifestyle to the point that you spend your excess cash. Your excess cash is only to be invested. Do not buy the Porsche or the mansion on the green or the designer clothes or the Rolex watch. Wait. With determination, work and perseverance, you'll be able to retire soon anyway. "Soon" being a relative term meaning anywhere from 2 to 10 years.

So that's how you get rich. Simple, easy, relatively quick and almost no risk. You just need to get that excess cash flow in place. And then you're on your way.

A Disease Called Life

What do you love to do the most? This is the most important question you will ever have to answer. Discovering the answer to that question and then doing it will free your soul. Not doing what you love condemns you to hell.

God has given each person a dream that only they are uniquely qualified to fulfill. This is our purpose in life. It is what we love to do the most.

Most people have turned their back on their dream, on what they love to do. They go to school and become indoctrinated into the industrial religion - school, job, family, career. This religion further requires that we sacrifice ourself - our dream - and also our sense of adventure, our love of fun, our innate joy of living to the dicta and dogma of the industrial religion.

Living like this is living life backward. In giving up everything to pursue job, family, career because we think it will make us happy, we eventually discover that we are not happy. Then it is often too late to determine what will make us happy and so we go on getting bigger houses, finer cars, fancier clothes, because we know no better. We think that that is the only way to achieve happiness, when that which will make us happy remains hidden.

We sacrifice our dreams to a religion which promises everything but find instead that everything isn't enough. We wake up one day realizing that the kids are sick, the mortgage needs to be paid and someone we love has died. We say we are living when in fact we are dying every day. We claim to be awake when we all are really asleep. It is only when we finally wake up by the process of doing what we love that we realize how deeply we had been asleep.

Many people follow the prescribed path of the doctrine and through luck, skill, determination and hard work they acquire the big house, the fancy car and the fine clothes. They may even convince themselves they are happy, but something will always give them away.

Whether it is illness, disease or cancer, addictions, accidents or injuries, the tragedies which befall them or the pain which surrounds them, those who are observant will always see that these people are not happy, they are not fulfilled, they are not satisfied. We can identify them because they speak of the world in a way we are all familiar with and often engage in ourselves. We speak of the bad service at the grocery store, how Tom did what to Lisa, how our friends are ill, how our workplaces are full of strife and struggle and our marriage is unhappy. If we wake up and have to go to work - we know we are not living our dream.

All this is because we have a disease the only cure of which is to find our dream and do it. We all have this disease; this disease called life.

Success and the American Dream

Success in America has usually meant living in wealth. It usually means being rich. Success has meant fame, fortune or the suburban house with the white picket fence, a cat, a dog and 2.2 children. But it may not be my dream. It may not be my definition of success.

Success is an individual thing. To define it we have to refine it. We must search through all the paradigms and templates that society, our parents, teachers, friends and TV has bombarded and suffocated us with, to discover the true “us” we have hidden inside. You will never be truly happy until you connect to that essence which is truly you and which you may have hidden, buried and ignored for so long that you’ve forgotten that it - you - even exists.

Social Entropy

Each advance in science, politics, culture, etc, is considered progress. But this progress will tend to be negative in effect unless counterbalanced.

We see the results of this negative effect each passing day as the breakdown of our civilization seems to accelerate. Crime increases, gangs rule the streets, terrorism and wars rage on while the world seems to get smaller and smaller via the global satellite network.

These advances will continue to be negative in effect if they are not tied to an equivalent advance in our higher selves. To compensate for the entropic influence of advancement we must counter it with equal advances in our spiritual selves, in our morals and in our ethics and values.

Each technological advance, each item or step in terms of progress must then be counterbalanced with advances in our higher selves. Only through such commensurate and equivalent advances in technology and spirituality can civilization progress in a stable manner.

Without an equivalent moral advance in spirituality or morals for each technological or social advance, civilization will tend to deteriorate and self-destruct as we can clearly read and see in our daily papers and news broadcasts.

Now What?

Hi, my name is Perry Jones. First of all, let me say I don't want any of your money. And I won't accept it if you offer it to me. Of course, I'll be tempted - who wouldn't - so don't do it. The purpose of this is to help you keep your money.

Let me tell you a little about me so you'll know I'm qualified to tell you about this. I've studied finance and investments for over 25 years. I began preparing taxes for other people and small businesses when I was 15 years old. I have been a mutual funds advisor obtaining a Series 6 Federal Securities license just 3 weeks after I began studying for it. Most people require 1 to 3 to 6 months or more to study for a Series 6. I followed that up by studying for and obtaining a Series 63 State Securities license just a week later. I was co-founder of an investment club we called the BBC - Billionaire Boys Club. In our first year we obtained a 54% rate of return. The average at that time was around 18%. I've managed portfolios for wealthy individuals, been an incorporator for businesses, prepared business plans, started and sold my own business, invested in and managed my own portfolio and I was a trust and non-profit tax accountant for KPMG - a Big 5 accounting firm. Over all, I feel my background, education and experience will help you hold onto your money.

Over the last few years I've been studying money, wealth and those who've obtained wealth. My research has revealed that people who suddenly come into wealth, such as in an inheritance or a lottery winning, - like you for example - often go through all they've received within 2 years. During these two years they are often subjected to an unusually high amount of stress and have friends and relatives they never knew they had come asking them for money.

Many people often feel guilty. "Why me?" "What do I do with this?" "Who do I turn to?" "Who do I trust?" Hopefully, you won't experience any of these feelings and everything will go smoothly for you. But if you find yourself feeling this way, you aren't alone.

To help, I've developed some simple rules or guidelines. Accept those which feel right to you or which seem to make sense. If it feels wrong or just doesn't make sense, don't do it.

1. Wait. This is already what most people do. Wait a few days until the excitement dies down before claiming your money. This gives you time to calm down and relax and look at the situation a little more rationally. Winning a large jackpot is a big responsibility and you need time to get yourself used to the idea.

2. While you're waiting those few days, find yourself a competent attorney and a good accountant, CPA or financial advisor. How do you find such people? Trust your friends. Yeah, the word may leak that you've won, but it is more important to get an attorney and financial advisor in place rather than not trust your friends and go to the lottery office without such a team behind you. Who would your friends recommend? Ask them, ask around. Maybe you could consult the mayor of your town - if its small, or ask your doctor, tax preparer or someone who owns a small business. You could also just go through the Yellow Pages and select a few financial service firms at random and then call them for an initial appointment. When you appear for the appointment, be honest, tell them you won the big jackpot and ask them what suggestions they have on how you should invest the money. Meet each of the advisors you select and then wait at least 24 hours after meeting with the last before deciding which one you'll be working with. Then call that one back and give them the good news. Trust me, they'll be very happy.

3. While you're waiting, you may want to change your phone number and/or get yourself a new mailing address - a post office box or a mail box at a nearby mailing service. Otherwise you'll be inundated with phone calls and proposals in the mail to help you part with your money.

So you go to the lottery office and collect the big check. You get your smiling face on all the local (and maybe national) media. So what's next?

4. Take 10% and blow it. Yeah, this may not seem like sound investment advice, but you've just won the lottery for pete's sake! Have fun! That's what winning is all about. Take that vacation you've always wanted. Get that sports car you've always dreamed of. Throw yourself the biggest party you can imagine. Rent out the nightclub or restaurant or theater for you and some of your best friends. Have a good time. Have fun. But don't forget:

5. Be yourself. Don't be someone you're not. Don't assume "airs" just because you're suddenly wealthy. Your friends will resent it and sooner or later, so will you. This really hasn't been much of a problem for most people and shouldn't be with you, so just keep it in mind.

6. If you don't go to church or believe in God or a Supreme Being of some kind, now may be a good time to reconsider your position. You're going to need all the advice, wisdom and support you can get. When friends and family you never knew you had suddenly begin calling you and showing up on your doorstep, you may start to wonder who you can trust. Who will you turn to? God is infinite love and wisdom and this may be just what you need right now.

7. Relax. Don't feel guilty. Praise God. This money is a gift. Lightning has to strike someone sometime. This time it just happend to be you. You may now have enough to retire. If so, go ahead and retire. Quit your job, or at the very least stay away for a few days. You'll probably be too excited to concentrate on your job anyway. So take a vacation and maybe it'll become permanent.

8. Be careful who you trust. All the people you knew and were friends with before you won are probably safe. Any "friends", "relatives" and others you may have encountered since you won may not be.

9. Talk to your family, lawyer and financial planner and set up an investment plan. Discuss what you would do with this money. Don't make any rash decisions. The longer you keep this money in a safe place - even if its just a regular bank account for now - the longer you'll be able to consider all your options, plan for the future, and dream of what could be. Consider capping your donations to church or charities at a maximum of 10%. If you're receiving your money in annual payments, keep your donations at 10% per year. After the first year you may want to increase this percentage, but for the first year, keep donations to a 10% maximum.

10. Don't give money away to just anyone or for any reason. People may start coming out of the woodwork with news of relatives needing lifesaving operations, to pay bills, to start a medical clinic, pay for an abortion, save the whales, feed the hungry, to pay the rent so they won't be evicted, to start a new business which is "guaranteed" to turn their life around, etc. Don't do it. Refer them all to your attorney. Even the United Way, Girl or Boy Scouts, your local church, Red Cross and even your favorite Uncle Billy. Ask them all to submit a written proposal to your attorney. And tell them he'll take it from there.

11. Take a vacation. Get out of the country. Or just get out of the area for a while. You may need a few days, you may need a few weeks. But now is the time to think and relax. You've been given a great gift. What are you going to do with it? To figure that out, take that vacation you've always wanted. Go away. Go someplace where no one knows you. Take your immediate family (or not) and bring along a trusted friend or friends or relative(s) if you wish. Go sailing. Go to Europe or Asia. Take that cruise. Go to Las Vegas (but be careful if you go there)(the casinos have many years experience of helping people part with their money), or Cancun or Fiji. Whatever vacation or place you've always wanted, now is the time to do it.

If you take your family, they may impose too greatly upon your conscience. You don't want that. You want to be able to rationally and logically figure out what to do with this great gift you've been given. Having your family around may not allow you to do this. Or it may. Only you can make that determination.

If they are not with you, call home. Call your family, pastor or a trusted friend. Talk. And make lists. This is number 12.

12. Make lists. What dreams did you always want to do or achieve? Who did you always want to be? Now may be the time to do that. Or maybe you'll too old. Or not. And don't be hasty. You've got all the time in the world. You can live anywhere you want. Do anything you want. Buy any car you've wanted. Get that big house in that luxury area.

Keep on making lists. Think about all the things you've written. Do you really want this or that? Do you really want to go here or there? Think about these things. It may take some time, or maybe it won't. Maybe you won't need to get away, maybe you've had all this planned out already, if not on paper then in your head. Enjoy yourself.

13. Move on. Your plans are in place. Your family has been taken care of. Perhaps you've bought that nice house or car you've always wanted. Now is the time to move on. Start living your life. Maybe you won't change anything, or maybe you will. Maybe you'll change everything. But life goes on, and so do you. You may be able to live at a higher level of affluence, you may be able to donate to those charities, you may be able to do some good things you never had the time or money to do before. Now you have both. So do them. You may even want to go back to school. You're never too old. Begin implementing the investment plan you worked out. Begin living that life you dreamed of while on vacation and while making lists. And that's it.

There's plenty of competent investment advice out there so I'm not going to offer any. Except for this. If you're going to buy that new house, pay cash. Buy it outright. Same for the car. Get out of debt. Now is not the time to be adding new debt. You're going to need time to learn how to invest wisely. Many people study for years and never get it right. But with the proper team around you, the love and support of family and friends and God on your side, you'll make the right decisions.

Making a Living in the New World

A million jobs and more are being lost each year overseas. Thousands of people each month are giving up hope of ever finding a job. This is a huge tragedy the effects of which have not yet even begun.

A million jobs lost are a million people out of work. It's a million people depending on an unemployment check to pay bills and feed their families. A million people out of work is a million children whose parents wonder how they are going to feed their children. A million jobs lost.

That's a lot of people wondering what to do next. That's a lot of people wondering if their next job is going to pay as well as their last job. A million jobs lost is a million people bewildered.

We are faced with a great challenge. But the challenge we face in lost jobs is the opposite viewpoint of what is really happening. No matter how politicians may rant about their opponents causing millions of jobs to go overseas, no matter how politicians may promise they will stem the outflow of jobs to Mexico, China and India, no matter how many promises are made; the outflow of jobs cannot be stopped. Nor should it be.

Jobs are flowing toward those areas where the economics prove the most effective for that job keeping the cost of goods and services affordable for the most people. Productivity gains in the areas of job loss keeps inflation from rising. But these things are meaningless if you're the one who has lost your job.

A great restructuring is upon us. It is painful and it is arduous. It is challenging. But it is also necessary. For those whose jobs have been lost things could hardly get any worse. But the loss of jobs is a good thing. The loss of jobs to China and Vietnam, Mexico and Korea means the increase of opportunity where those jobs were lost. It may not look like it if you're the one holding that final paycheck and your heart begins to flutter in panic.

I know. I've been there.

Instead of looking at what we've lost, we must do the hard thing and look at the opportunity that has been presented to us. With some support from the government in the form of unemployment compensation, tuition loans and vouchers for adults and medical, life, vision and dental insurance for those thrown out of work, we can make it.

With these necessities provided, we can now set about ensuring that never again will we be at the mercy of some corporation that doesn't really care about us anyway. By starting over again at 30, 40 or even 50 at some big corporation, we'd only be the first to go at the next economic downturn. There has to be a better way. And there is.

It will be hardest for adults. But I also know that as adults, we do whatever is necessary to get by - to put food on the table for our children and families, to keep a roof over their heads and clothes on their backs. It will be hard. But it is doable. It is also necessary.

A new economy is upon us. The means of production are being handed back to the individual by the forces of evolution, science and progress. No person is doing this. No state is doing this. No religion is doing this. No ideology is doing this. Evolution, science and progress alone are presenting each of us with the opportunity to grab a hold of our own economic future and be totally self responsible and totally self-sufficient.

As our basic necessities for life and living are temporarily provided by the state, we must go back to school to learn a trade, to learn that profession we always wondered about. Our dream of being an architect, teacher or doctor is now forced upon us. And we must take up those reins which have been presented to us - and learn.

It may not be easy. It may not be cheap. But it must be done. As we learn that trade or profession we've always dreamed of, other avenues of generating income wait to be explored.
The standard of living for our future lies in how well we grasp the fundamentals of financial education. We must look to people like Suze Orman, Robert Allen and Robert Kiyosaki, for they represent the vanguard of our economic future. The jobs we have lost will be replaced by jobs we ourselves create.

Trading in commodities, inventions, copyrights, patents, licensing, acting, music publishing, rental income, income from websites we own, are all just a small part of the great variety of streams of income we will enjoy in the future. REIT's, gas and oil income trusts, share-the-wealth and distributed ownership corporations are all just some of the myriad income vehicles we will create and participate in in the future.

Shared ownership of corporate robots, distributed ownership in satellite networks, traditional franchises, internet auctions, affiliate programs, ebooks, software development, licensing a game, product, patent or process are all just a small part of the universe of means to provide us with an income which will eventually be many times larger than any income we would have received had we stayed in that job we lost.

A million jobs a year are flowing overseas. Good riddance. Jobs are passé'. The future is upon us. Financial freedom is upon us. The hope and dream of many for decades is now at hand. We are being released - kicking and screaming perhaps - but we are being released nevertheless from the tyranny of work - from the daily 9 to 5.

It is a bold future and requires that each of us be bold individually. We must set our fears behind for the future is truly bolder, bigger, brighter and better than any future we could have envisioned just a few years ago.

It is a scary future. For we will be cut off from familiar faces and familiar means of employment at offices and factories and stores and warehouses and the McDonald's and Wal-Mart's across the country.

And for now, what those familiar faces and those familiar processes will be replaced with we do not know. But it will be good. Because we are up to the challenge, because we are bold, because we are strong, because we are intelligent. It will be good because we are good. It will be good because when tossed a challenge we always win. I have no faith in big out-of-touch government or big out-of-touch corporations. I have faith in the individual. I have faith in you.

State of the Union

President Bush refered to privatizing Social Security and changing immigration policy in his State of the Union address. He stated that people should have the option of diverting up to 4% of their income into private accounts. This is exactly what I stated in 1996 when I first realized the enormity of the Social Security problem.

Although I recognized the coming failure of the Social Security system within 40 to 50 or so years, my primary motivation in my proposal was to keep my money out of the hands of the government.

I also considered immigration and realized that the growth of our nation is dependent upon a strong influx of immigrants. Therefore I felt that a relaxation of the then current immigration laws was in order.

I have not changed my position on either issue, and indeed, I find my views vindicated (albeit by an Administration with whom I strongly differ) by a government and a President which view the world with a wild wild west mentality.
